"Genealogy of the Holy War's" chapters are fully represented, while "Light Inheritors" begins from chapter 6 onwards.

After seeing Arvis murderize the hell out of my army and oppress the entire continent, this is cathartic.
I mean to be fair Arvis was a good ruler, but Julius and Manfroy fucked it all up
Iirc at the end of part 1 says that Arvis's empire at the beginning wasn't the best, but it was pretty good. Only after Julius was born things got bad.

Bob Schloavington For Seliph he needs to inherit a Paragon Ring and whack a boss that can heal on a castle and he'll gain so much experience he won't need to move on foot any longer and he'll be as strong daddy if not, better and a leg ring (optional) to make him more mobile and useful. I did this on my playthrough and it works great and is very convenient.
And every villager in the world knows the plot so far!

The first time I reached Chapter 6 and heard this, I was absolutely overjoyed. Such beautiful music, feels like the start of a grand adventure.
It is the most incredible feeling! A Wonderful transition from the previous chapter!

This sounds like it's based on both Birth of a Holy Knight and Girl of the Spirit Forest, combining them.

Astute observation, considering the Heir of Light’s (Seliph’s) parents are the Holy Knight (Sigurd) and the Girl of the Spirit Forest (Deirdre).

Light Inheritors, to me at least, is a sort of expression of both Sigurd and Deirdre merged together. Sigurd sounds triumphant and loud, while Deirdre sounds soft and melodic, coming together around 0:38 to form a sort of harmony.
Darth Revan I noticed that this theme sounds much like chapter 1 where Sigurd meets Deidre the first time.
Oddly enough, Seliph meets his half sister, Julia in this chapter.
It sounds like a fusion of the Prologue (aka Sigurd's heroic theme) and Chapter 1 (Sigurd meets Deirdre) theme
This theme really does carry a sort of spirit of "We need to do what must be done" vibe.

The chapter where if you want anyone to get experience, you have to try to hold back Larcei and Ulster to prevent them from clearing the entire map on their own, Delmud shows how much of a liability he is, Lester has to be fed kills unless he inherits the brave bow and power ring, Oifey eats a brave axe, and Julia becomes a healbot.

If we get an Echoes remake of this, I want the music to be in a similar genre. Just clearer thanks to modern hardware and without having to rely on a limited sound-font. This nice in-between of 90's modern music and a war orchestra. It'd make the game stand out from other Fire Emblem games for not just having a generic orchestra, and given how well Three Houses' soundtrack worked out, I think this can work just as well.

This is the chapter where you realize Seliph with the Paragon Ring and the Slim Sword vs. Danann is free EXP.
Unlike other boss abuse situations which rely on luck and become tedious (like trying to grind up Arden & Dew), Seliph has 100 Hit and only takes about 10 Hit in return with Diarmuid nearby. As a result, he can attack on both player phase and enemy phase for about 75 EXP per turn. Plus, his constant level-ups in HP give free heals for Julia & Lana.
Usually, most games would heavily reduce EXP gain in order to disincentivize boss abusing, but Danann is a promoted enemy who lacks a ranged weapon and has terrible Hit vs. any sword character, so he’s the easiest boss to grind EXP off of.

I just reached this chapter today and I love how broken Larcei and Ulst are. Seliph isn't quite like Sigurd yet but I have a feeling he's gonna be better than him eventually. Nobody will quite compare to the massive glow-up of Lachesis' promotion though, not till Leif gets there.
Ah yes, the theme of my game crashing every time I tried to save from this chapter all the way to the end of chapter 8

I played with the substitutes in the 2nd generation.
Rodolban and Radney are good substitutes (I know their official names are Dalvin and Creidne but I don't care 'Rodolban' is such a cooler name)
Radney is the best of the two.
She is not as OP as Larcei but she becomes strong and I prefer her design.
Also, Radney is the first female Hero in the series (awesome)
Dimna (Deimne) is not very impressive at first because he only starts with an Iron Bow but his growths are not bad and his special event helps him a lot.
He ended becoming a good 'machine gun guy'.
I prefer him than Lester tbh.
Mana is cuter than Lana.
She heals, that's all.
Now Tristan, this is one of my favorites substitutes and playable character in FE4
Train him is hard because he starts only with Critical Skill so he won't be able to make two hits and he only starts with an Iron Sword but his growths are good (he is the only substitute with a over 100% HP growth) and when you gave him a Brave Sword he will become very capable.
In my Substitutes Run, my Tristan (with Brave Sword and Power Ring) was able to kill Ishtar in one turn
Something about this song sounds so much like Lufia 2.
Tbh Gen 2's start felt more like the start of an FE game to me. Idk why it just does, despite the christmas cavs being replaced by two myrms. Two really good myrms tho, so no complains.

I think what I love about it is that it feels like the beginning of a new game but at heart it’s the continuation of one.
The funny thing is, FE4 Gen 1 feels like the backstory to any other FE game, with FE4 Gen 2 feeling like the proper game.
Ulster and Larcei are honestly kind of terrible just because they lack a mount. In combat, they're usually outclassed by other foot units with holy weapons (Shanan, Faval, maybe Ced)
