I was thrown off by a scenario question in my interview yesterday and i didn’t really answer it 😬 ‘you find a 70 year old lady who appears confused and disoriented, what do you do?’ me: ‘i would approach calmly, ask her whether she knows where she is or who she is and go from there’🤣☠️

Can you tell me which university this was for? I have two upcoming interviews and would like to be best prepared and how would you answer that question if asked again?
@@CareerVidz As soon as the interview finished I had a good answer in my head so then i came to your channel to practise for the one on monday. And of course i can subscribe 😅
@@ashrobbo1 This was for Portsmouth Uni and I had 2 scenario questions. One was the one above and one was ‘ Your colleague has just come out transgender to you, what do you do’. However for the first question I failed on i would know say ‘I would approach the lady calmly, reassure her and calm her down and ask her some questions to determine a solution. I would also sit her down and make sure she’s comfortable’ something along those line 😅 good luck with your interviews
I felt like this view was helpful and i watched it religiously, until i had my interviews this year. i wont tell you what university's but they are all in the top 20 hardest to get in to. Anyway, not one question or a question anything like these came up in my interview, they where all scenario based, what would you do if this this and this, and they where not paramedic scenarios, they where scenarios that happen in daily life like catching a train with a disabled friend and dealing with some one from a different religious background. Caught me off guard to be honest but i answered them well. The only question i struggled on was - what academic skills do you need in university. I was totally off guard and just said "ermmm English skills?" lol but we went back to it in the end and i did a better answer lol
