In Qld. Oh have I been waiting for this. I have same colour and been wanting to see your upgrades. So beautiful, great minds think alike. Now this will help me convince the wifey. 😃
@@ulyssesphani4770 really appreciate the kind words! Let Harry know I said hi haha and I’ll speak to them see if I can do some 10% discount or something for anyone that comes down there from my video.
I love how the build is coming along dude!!!! I still dont understand why the VB isnt as beloved as the STI but with the potential of this engine I dont think an STI is necessary. I mean it is just as fast as an STI stock lol. anyways keep it up bortha!!!
I agree! I feel Like new wrx is a “sti” out of the box besides the gearbox and breaks but to be fair those are all things personally I don’t mind changing anyway since the chassis and FA engine are actually so goood. Appreciate the kind words bro!

My wing had installed by Dmaker. I can see the wing has vibration in the centre rear view mirror when the car drive on the rough road or drive on the bumpy road. Just wondering whether your wing got this issue?thanks
@@davidchow11 mine did. Actually in this video mine had a slight hairline fracture causing the issue. Just have a look over it to make sure there isn’t any cracks on it
@@7ol6athanks for the reply, I’ll check my one, Also I found actually there are two different part number for the trunk weather seal, one is 57532vc010 which is the car came with the sti wing in Japan. But in Australia the trunk weather seal part number is 57532vc000, this one only for the small spoiler. Better to change the trunk weather seal and adjust trunk lock otherwise the trunk lid gonna always hit the bumper when you driving on bumpy road.
@@7ol6a dang what about the spoiler?? Dare I say it looks better than some of these bigger companies like noble or aeroflowdynamics. Actually aeroflow is nice but I feel like the one on your car looks exactly how it’s supposed to! I may be trippin.. May I ask who it’s made by?

@@zombielivesmatter7294 Again isn’t the point. Those are just what the parts are called. Although out of the box being a 2.4 with a what I believe better built chassis and the FA makes some decent torque / power over the ej. @@7ol6a for sure not every car is for everyone, Subaru engineer at Willow event let us know and it's well documented that new VB is built on Forester and Ascent SUV chassis and drivetrain so it's more stronger safety and comfortable, as it should since it's SUV. But yeah, at least you admit STI is more superior, but not everyone has $10k for swapping that in to VB that barely cost $30, 1/3 of cost. But at least you're realistic about performance and know STI drivetrain is WAY superior. Many VB owners here in California straight out said their open front diff and open rear diff VB can outhandle AWD performance cars like the EVO or STI or my GTR with limited slip differentials front and rear. They lie and say they out perform a STI. Props to you for being one of the few non-delusional VB owners though, you admit STI drivetrain superior.

@@zombielivesmatter7294 I just seen the article. I believe sometimes some classes of rally only accept 2.0L engines being the reason they would’ve done that. Just like how the Supra back in the days never ran the 2JZ and had to use the beams engine out of a Lexus. I believe so but I could be wrong
Almost a 10hr drive for me to make it to the Dmaker unit, wish I lived a little closer to the boys. Looking unreal, love it.
Stock fenders look better. I wouldnt have went the with the wing but everything else is a masterpiece. Those ce28's are godly.
The VB is really growing on me. Im after a new daily so this will be on the list

Is that kit an exact replica of the STI OEM kit? Looks very close besides the badging
