Thank you for the spin around SMP i enjoyed the ride, your Rex performed nicely, and well done to you.. I agree the brakes on the VB are not brilliant compared to my previous 4 WRX, for my driving now i can live with that. Thanks again , take care 👍
Breaks Definitely are the first change then power modifications. No rubbing surprisingly although I’m sure when I do run 255’s I might have to trim inside the guards or go the 10mm wider guards.
I found that with the Burger Tuning JB4, it makes the car have lots more torque from about 2500rpm until redline. Granted, your assesment of the brakes is true, probably the cars weak point IMO. Still a fun car and I love mine but after a few months, I still dream of what an STi could have been with this chasis! Great vid!
Appreciate it bro!. I know unfortunately Subaru has left the StI tuning into our own hands. I can’t wait to take this chassis further and see what it actually can do
I just got me a '24 WRX. Internet says "best wrx" to date. If so, i couldnt imagine how unsophisticated the previous generation are! The wrx is alright for what it is. I wanted an AWD car and the WRX was cheapest.
@@isaacchavez1425 oh WRX to WRX the old wrx doesn’t even compare. The fact that the new WRX is being compared to the previous STI and personally from my experience it’s a better car then the last gen sti as well, just some small cost cuts from Subaru like the breaks and LSD which kill it and again that’s only if you track the car other wise it’s amazing for the money
That WRX is so nice! CE28 are spot on. Proof you can keep the cladding and the car will still be nice 👍
@@mathinflames thanks bro!, yeah it’s actually grown on me a lot. Although I still will be going complete paint matched very soon

Legend ! Thanks rob always appreciate it. Keen to upgrade them and head back again
car looks great. factory brakes definitely need some work but otherwise love this car. do you have any tire rubbing with the coilover set up?

With manual turning off traction control puts the car in “ Track mode “ and yes I was driving with traction control off
