Councel this beauty pageant my opinion, if she is being disqualify now, the notion that she is more beautiful than the ladies of another Nation for instance has been created. So my advice is council the whole of the competition because the organizers has failed to do the right thing early before now... otherwise it will be an insult on the South African ladies that a foreigner in their country is more beautiful than them all... Although she is my sister i.e Nigerian from what you said her name is. Am just helping you so as not to hurt her by disqualifying her and the whole world will gain her sympathy but the the negative effect would be to her advantage forever South African s.. peace..

I believe that even if the father is not South African, if the mother is and she was born in SA, she is a South African, especially if the mother is not married. I agree if both parents are not South Africans. Where I differ is in a situation where Father South African and mother not - Child accepted as South African - Accepted Mother, South African and father not- Child not accepted as South African - accepted My scenarios are only based on unmarried parents. I submit that these cases should be treated the same, women not discriminated. In my culture, Xhosa, parents of unmarried girls and boys take over the children of unmarried young people. Nobody can say those children are not South Africans.

South African law is clear about the issue. Immigration fraud is not a path for citizenship in RSA
