"I advocate you do your daily planning the night before." There is a lot of wisdom in that! Great video

Thank you, Mike. When I began doing that, I slept better, began the day better and found myself a lot more focused.

This was great Carl! I have ADHD and the challenge to differentiating priorities is huge. I struggle with seeing the compounding effect of doing 2-3 tasks per day vs. piling it all on for 1-2 days. Also a great reminder that there are other things in life than just work! 😀

Simple and straightforward stuff that we sometimes need to be reminded of. Thanks!

One of the best videos I’ve seen from you, Carl. I needed this one after trying to over complicate prioritizing every thing, every day.

Hi Shane, it's natural to try and do more than we are capable of in a single day. We forget we are human LOL

So it is important to reserve most productive hours to work requires deep concentration. How do you keep this period quiet?

Ah, that is where we get to practice our communications skills. Explaining to bosses, clients and colleagues that you need a couple of hours each day for deep, focused work. It benefits everyone and that's the message you need to communicate.

How familiar are you with ADHD? With all the tools and methods you know, you could make an amazing short series on which ones would be especially useful for managing ADHD and how.
I found your channel because I found out about Todoist. I use it to keep track of personal things like cleaning the house, vehicle maintenance, habits I want to build, curiosities I want to look into, hobbies and activities I want to try.
Basically whenever I randomly think of something while I’m in the middle of something else, I pull out my phone or yell at Alexa and make a quick note of it. Then I can get back to what I was doing without being afraid I’ll forget the idea or what I remembered. I also use my stopwatch and make notes on how long a task takes, because we tend to be very bad at judging duration. And if a task feels too overwhelming, make sub tasks!
I even used Zapier to automatically add my work schedule emails to my Todoist! (Although I’m afraid I might be using features in the free trial of pro, and $20/month is too much for pro)
