- Should you stretch and pay ₹2 lakh more than the TVS, or bit less than that for the BMW 310, RR and RR respectively? I think you should definitely think about Aprilia RS 457 instead. Just to underline the point, all three bikes are roughly the same weight, but the RS 457 makes 10bhp more, and has roughly 40 per cent more torque, and it's made earlier. And while the 310 platform is now seven year old - and that's a great chassis so it's no pushover - the 457 is wearing the latest from Italy and it's far better on every count too! Then comes the standard equipment on the Aprilia to close the deal. But the reason, budget aside, to still consider the RRs is mostly comfort. The less committed riding positions and the slightly - and not by much - softer suspension can make riding the 310s a little bit easier in daily use.

Finally, a confusion cleared. So I think I will stick with my RR310 for 2 more years, and hope Aprilia increases the service centre experience., then upgrade to it.
Would you not think of upgrading to the 600cc class ? I am in the same situation and looking at the Versys or Tiger Sport unless Aprillia blows us away with the Tuono

Earlier i also wanted to buy RR310 but i stretched my budget for the same reasons as mentioned and got RS457. Happy with my purchase, it is such a beast and a head turner.

a lack of cubes hurt, in tvs case, a lack of cylinder too and given it cannot squeeze in tight spaces so it got bashed by hunter too😂

Definitely true @vbanner. TVS does have an upper hand in terms of reach. But quality, on the other hand, seems debatable.

We do not have that information @surahshitole1785 but there has never been an RS without a Tuono following it. So, all we can do is wait.

Service is doubtful , and spareparts management , and maturity of motorcycle is doubtful with aprilia as it is a new product
The first two are genuine concerns Rishi but we think that the maturity of the product isn't in question, so far. Aprilia's been quite consistent on that front.
Here for motoplex hyderabad the service quality and customer satisfaction is top notch. 100s of bikes are sold but didn't found a single unsatisfied customer in our owners whatsapp group. Yes there were minor issues few owners faced regarding battery draining. Which was resolved by service technician at doorstep. They have also conducted multiple rides for rs457 owners. But obviously service might vary with location to location.
Nah, not worth it.
