How to fully put together the single shock version of our RuffStuff Ultimate Rock Crawling Trailing Arms - heavy duty trailing arms specifically designed for the rocks!

The Dual Shock Trailing Arms are designed more for long wheelbase vehicles and full tube chassis buggies. The Single Shock Trailing Arms at 40" long are built for shorter wheelbase vehicles like Wranglers, Cherokees, Land Cruisers requiring less modification to fit. These are meant to be the strongest arms possible. Built to take hit after hit, you can even make them stronger with the optional Universal Tube Reinforcement.
Easy weld-it-yourself kit for the competent welder or completely welded and ready to install, they are narrow-profile, easily customized, and tough as nails. These come with a Lifetime warranty when welded by RuffStuff Specialties, All competitive racing applications INCLUDED!! Our URC Trailing Arms measure 40" eye-to-eye, with a 2" x .25" wall DOM main tube, 1/4" thick 1-piece main plate bent 4 times for maximum strength, minimal welding and warpage, and easy assembly.
Shocks mount BELOW the line between the bushing and heim (Unlike some competitors!) which prevents the trailing arm from trying to rotate when the shocks push down on it because the shocks "hang" below the center line. This Extends bushing life because the bushings and shocks are pushing to keep the arm straight together rather than the shocks fighting the bushings and trying to rotate the arm. These arms could be customized to use heims and uniballs instead of bushings (even without wobble stops). Dual drain slots allow for easy cleaning and helps extend life of shock eyelet bearings.
Will not cause bent shock shafts should a bushing wear out or fail.
Second hole can be used as a strong and simple limiting strap mount if bypasses aren't used.
3" wide polyurethane bushings at the frame side and our famous 1-1/4" heim joints on the axle side.
1/2" shock bolt holes set for 1.5" misalignment width.
Each arm weighs in at ~32.5lbs welded.

Please allow 5-7 days lead time if you choose for us to weld them.
Due to tolerances in the tube and plate bending, although both are CNC bent, slight grinding may be necessary for perfect fitment of components

The attention to detail is crazy, great craftsmanship. From coating everything to reduce spatter, chiseling off spatter, starting welds under the plate so it can't be seen, all the way to switching hands so the welds are mirrored 😅. It's obvious you take pride in your work, well done.

First off I want to mention yucky is definitely a technical term 😁 Amanda is one of our best welders but keep in mind she is one of 10 or 12 people in the company that might be called on to weld at any time. 5 or 6 of those are now working in other positions but if you have seen us at KOH you have seen salesmen welding, the CEO welding, and even I have tacked a few things together but you don’t want me to be the guy welding your junk 😨 when someone like Amanda could do the work for you! Keep up the good work Amanda, also, what were you singing?
