    Which is this specific tv?
    i have ur7800 and I'm some kind disappointed, colors are for me really good but movement/clarity not exactly. Slow scenes great, But faster scenes, at times you can see artifacts and chops, for example someone explains something and moves his hands, it looks like he has 8 fingers on his hand.
    I didn't have such a bad experience on the much older non high tech Samsungs TV

    Hi, thanks for the video. Ive bought yesterday an LG 43 UP7500 PSF and Ive noticed some image retention when using as a monitor on my pc. Ive checked all configs but it seems whenever a bright screen like youtube white background, then I change to a screen darker, like grey color, I notice some previous screen retention. But it didnt stay forever. Can you say if it is normal on this tv model (LG43UP7500)?

    • @TVguyDarko
      @TVguyDarko  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi - 9 years ago I’ve noticed temporal image retention on one LG TV I’ve been testing but since then I really haven’t noticed it. In any case it is just temporal and it depends on the picture preset that you are using - modes such as Vivid and Standard will create it more easily compared to Cinema or Expert. In any case, I always recommend to use accurate picture modes such as the latter ones. Do traces disapper quicky after a dynamic content is displayed?

      Yes, Judder reduction setting within TruMotion is MEMC. If the source is 24 or 30 fps it will interpolate, but if you are sending out for example 1080p60 signal and your GPU is only able to render 30 fps, the interpolation will not happen. How come you only have 30 fps gaming content?

    Maybe someone has an answer for me here, Google didn´t really help with my specific problem or question: I bought an LG UP81 (50 Inches) as a secondary TV. I don´t really watch anything on it, it was meant for an alternative to hook up my PS5 and PC.
    What I realized was whenever I move my character or turn the camera in any game the colors seem to get a bit brighter; on BOTH the PS5 and PC. But again, ONLY when anything in the game world moves. Thought maybe some kind of (Motion) Blur that´s responsible. It´s most visible in a game like Borderlands, as I said on both PS5 and PC. It sometimes looks as if the thick black outlines on the textures for example have a white "ghosting" effect. But something similar is happening in every game I play. Not necessarily white, but brighter/ more pronounced colors in motion.
    I played around with all the settings of the TV and the PS5/ PC, but no success.
    I have never experienced something like this; neither on both my PC Monitors nor my Main-TV. Has anyone experienced something like this ? I know the LG UP81 is an entry-level UHD-TV, but is this some kind of common problem with those cheaper Models ? I can´t really believe that is is normal even in this price-range, as it gets PRETTY distracting.

      Hey, thanks for the response.
      I have the TV in "Game Optimiser"-Mode; and I already turned everything off and on (Super Resolution, Noise Reduction, TruMotion, Motion Eye Care, HDMI Deep Color etc.). The problem is also consistant among all other Picture-Modes. I also tried different combinations of RGB, YCbCr 4:4:4/ 4:2:2 and all the usual stuff on both PS5 and PC because maybe the TV doesn´t like the high bandwith. To no avail. Also tried different HDMI-Ports.
      By the way this strange behaviour is not happening while watching Videos; just Real-Time stuff it seems.

      @TVguyDarko  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seems you’ve checked everything I would suggest you to try. It is interesting that LG is using VA instead of IPS panel on this model: www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/0b562561 Still, strange that this is happening as it should not. Thank you for your video. I just bought an LG 50UN7000PUC tv at a yard sale. I am underwhelmed with this TV. The color looks off. The streaming apps on the TV itself (not just on my upscaled Roku Premiere) show artifacts and banding. The closest I can get to color that isn't dull and depressing is the vivid mode, however that is still a bit off and too bright in white areas.
    I'm fairly familiar with this subject having worked in editing programs. However, is this model just a dud? I just can't seem to get it to my liking. It also definitely has that "soap opera" effect. And the color never seems right.
    I got it for someone in the household who is visually impaired and she prefers the 15-year old 43" Samsung with the disintegrating picture and burnt in CNN logo. Can't blame her. I do prefer this one to the Samsung,. but just do not like this TV at all. Is this model just a dog?

    Hi! I've bought this one, but I'm considering taking it back because I can have Sharp 55BL3EA for very good money. Which one would you choose?

      Hi - I would avoid Sharp and either keep the LG or get a Samsung in this price category. My Sharp BL5 (basically the same model) review: th-cam.com/video/PFlYFc4OoBc/w-d-xo.html

      The LG 43 pouces uhd up7000 screen is made by Algeria. Nothing is missing (USB 1, HDMI, 2, avi). We say it is correct. We ask LG to fix it and remove the tag for anyone who spoils it, (in my experience).
