Thanks for the video. I've been there and sometimes it took me 1 hour to transfer. Many times I ended up on the floor. 911 60 times in 8 month. I pray that God put somebody in your life so you don't have to stress. Besides Thatyour tough as nails rock star!
Christine Davidson Wow an hour to relax enough to transfer! You are the rock star! I've ended up on the floor many of times and been on the ground waiting for someone to get home a few times and it sucks so I want everybody to be safe if attempting solo transfers.
Thanks buddy! Good work on your channel too! You have to come out for a rugby practice this summer just hang out with us for a day and play a little rugby..I know you got that itch!
All your videos are very impressive and you have a lot to be proud of; You used to identify yourself as C6 which more adequately represents your function. A true C5 does not have wrist extensors,...however your ability at C6 is still outstanding
Steve Kenny You are right I used to say c5-c6 quad because I think I'm somewhere in the middle. I had to work really hard to get extension in my right wrist and its still pretty weak and locks in extension position. Also a C6 has full shoulder and deltoid function which I definitely do not have. I'm missing over half my right shoulder function and a large chunk of my left shoulder is also nonfunctional. I only took the c6 out of my title because TH-cam kept telling me my titles were to long but its still says c5-c6 on my website and about page... I will probably go back to using c5-c6 again.
Man I wish I was smaller and able to do transfers more easy... I'm a c-6 c-7 six foot four two hundred and seventy pound dude... When i try to pick up my leg(no dexterity) i end up pulling myself to my leg. I use to have real bad spasms but i went and got a baclofin pump implant and on the first surgery to install the pump failed so i had to have a second surgery and it worked wonderfully for nearly three years and i was spasm free which was great bc i had bad spasms before so hard they pushed the air out of my lungs until about five months ago when everything went wrong...
Kyle Bullard Yeah you are a big guy for sure, I'm six foot and 145 lbs so you got me by a hundred or so.. Your length could benefit you in transferring if you could get some dexterity but thats not very easy to do. I have met a few rugby players that weigh over 350 lbs and seen them do some amazing things.. Have you ever tried rugby or anything like that? It can really help spasms to work out as well..

u have so much determination, awesome
今は大丈夫ですか?一人でいったんですね。あんまり無理しないでくださいね
Shawn this transfer is awesome! It looks safe and the longer cushion makes a lot of sense.
