Beethoven Symphony No. 4 - Trailer - Monteverdi Choir & Orchestras with Dinis Sousa

The Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique looking forward to bringing the “pure musical joy” (El Pais) of the Beethoven symphonies to London and Paris in May 2024, conducted by Dinis Sousa. Our performances will also include the Overture from Beethoven’s only full-length ballet, The Creatures of Prometheus. And in their 60th anniversary season, the Monteverdi Choir will join the ORR for performances of Beethoven’s Mass in C major and Symphony No. 9 alongside star soloists Lucy Crowe, Alice Coote, Allan Clayton and William Thomas.

Sounds very exciting, but also blistering fast. Is this played at Beethoven's metronome mark? It feels like it's at the edge of what's possible for the orchestra.
