The gas less mig welders are quite spitty! I found mine was the same until I changed the welding wire. I got some good quality gas less mig wire and it made a massive difference to how the weld flowed 👍

Thanks Paul, good tip as I am just on the wire it was shipped with, so I will spend a little more when it's time to replace it.

Hi Ryan,
Looking good, I would cover the carb inlets before grinding etc ! last thing you want is crap in there. Regards the welding I would try a few more amps or slow the wire feed speed a bit this will give a bit more depth and help to form a welding pool. But not too much as you will blow through, its all about practise,

Thank you, I don't think my welder has wire speed adjustment, but I will check. Good point on the carbs (wish I'd read that when you sent this 5 days ago) Doh!

Looking good, just make sure your getting good penetration on the welds.
