We definitely like the option of hey I need that tool I get it. Insulated tools are less serous for me but I do need them and they can't get destroyed. I too use the wera for the lazer tip as Insulated screwdrivers. I like my vessel ceramic ones but they can only be in my service bag since inspectors would flag non certified yet functional Insulated screwdrivers and homeowners don't care. If thy made wera slim Insulated and lazer tip they would have the market cornered. I think you'd love some knipex cobalts if it fits it cuts even hardened steel rods or 1/4 20 bolts. The only issue is price and I recommend the 10in model much more than 8in. I too keep the needle nose fisher price pliers too people laugh but I don't care. If you don't own one get a volt claw the black one specifically. Other than having a all plastic tool it saves your hands and gives you some leverage pushing and manuliplating wire. It really helps your hands from hurting so much since I deal with 12g and 10g solid in tiny boxes. Appreciate the videos and keepem comming .
Thanks for the comment and for the tool recommendations! I have been wanting those mini bolt cutters for a while now, I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I will have to look into that volt claw. I have seen them in many videos but not the black one!
The special thing about the black one is it has a slider that opens and grabs wires 14/12g solid fit snuggly. Nothing worse than dropping a hot wire on the box and causing a arc flash and much slimmer than the fisher price knipex needle nose. Keep you on rhe watch list for more videos.
Nice loadout. I've been pondering about becoming an eletrician but always shy away after thinking about how many codes ya'll have to follow/ know versus low voltage guy like myself who just does coax for a ISP
@@ozzyc1396 It’s a fantastic trade to get into, I love all the different aspects of my job! Yes there are a lot of codes and it’s a revolving door, with new or updated codes every three years! But starting out nobody is going to demand you to know ALL the codes, it’s a learning process and over time you’ll remember codes and what chapter or table you can find certain codes in. Ask the foreman questions on code and if he doesn’t know then he should look it up and educate you! But don’t let that lean you away for becoming an electrician. You will learn great skills! if you get into commercial work you will start running the raceways that you used to pull your cat6, fiber or coax through. You will also bring your skills of low voltage to the table and any company should hire you on the spot! There a high demand for electricians! Go for it, I hope you do! Thanks for the comment and giving me an idea for a future video. Take care.
Good stuff and nice bag 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Now he needs to binge guess the trades right? 😆
