- PM Lee said he raised two concerns that Singapore has over Johor water, during his retreat with Dr Mahathir Mohd in Putrajaya on Tuesday - pollution and long-term yield. He said it is in both countries' interest to work together on these issues.

What is the price that Malaysia buy treated drinking water from Singapore compared to the rest of the world since 1926 ? What is the price of drinking water that Malaysia government sell to the Malaysia citizens ? Building Malaysia infastructure for storing raw water and pipelines from Malaysia to Singapore is paid by who ? Cost of maintence of these infastructures every year are paid by whio ? How much money did Malaysia government paid every year contributions ? Why Malaysia reporters did not ask Mr Mahathir ?

If Malaysia keep flipping and changing its stance after signing contracts, it's as good as not signing anything. There's no credibility in the government! Dealing with that government under Dr. M is useless as nothing productive can come out of it. Reputation of Malaysia has been greatly damaged by the last 3 PMs, hopefully Mr. Anwar is able to restore some credibility to the country.
This is the culture of some groups in Malaysia... they just sign whatever feels good in the moment without thinking of future consequences. The most recent example is the conviction, and then shortly after, the massive reduction in sentence through a pardon of a certain convict.
