Echt, oh. Da hab ich wohl nicht genau genug hingeguckt. Das sah aus wie ein Klatschen. Naja, ich gehe trotzdem mal davon aus, dass er ein Sportsmann ist xD. Aber danke für die Aufklärung:)
I think Littler's steamrollering of Kist was extraordinary, but he definitely looked beatable tonight and could have been in all kinds of trouble if Gilding had hit his doubles. I still think he's an extraordinary talent for a 16 year old but perhaps not superhuman after all. Still, this proves that even when he's not playing at his best he can still grind out a result which is an important skill that will serve him well. I think he probably got a good draw in round 1; having been a previous world champion Kist felt like a massive scalp for such a young and inexperienced kid to take but actually he's done very little in the last decade and prior to his match against Littler hadn't played on a WC stage for six years. He was well rusty and had struggled to get out of the first round even in the last few WCs he had played in. As he progresses in the tournament Littler will come up against much tougher opposition and I don't think he has a prayer of winning the title this year, but I do think it'll be a top guy who knocks him out and I can see him progressing to the quarters or semis.
Its remarkable how good luke is for a 16 year old however I think tonight showed he was human. I would also add gildings poor play may of contributed to the huge fall in Lukes averages. Nevertheless the bookies having him as 4th favourite to win the worlds above the likes of Anderson and smith was quite frankly ridiculous in saying that I’m looking forwards to seeing how Luke does against the top players
Gildings poor play? You are clearly clueless. He done pretty well considering the circumstances and hype, was 100% on the doubles for a good while, should have won the first set. Luke just won the bigger moments. Both averaged 92 which would of been around a ton each if it wasn’t for missed doubles, and the game could of gone either way
He's only 4th favourite because so many people started putting money on him after his first performance, not because the bookies think he's actually more likely to win than Anderson or Smith
Would be great if Scott Williams reached the top ten. Great personality for Darts TV. Hate him or love him type. Flipping off Luke Humphries was classic TH-cam moment.
Littler is amazing to watch and a very, very special young player. However with respect he’s a long way to go and the hype by the commentators, bookies etc etc needs reining in. I wish him all the best, he’s got life to deal with, the hype and everything that comes with, I’m sure the people around will protect him but as we know it’s not always that easy. It’s been a great tournament and amazing standard so far. 🎯🎯🎯💜🇬🇧
Remarkable Luke but sky sports already crapping on with convo and graphics showing Luke’s “possible route to the final”? As good as he is Gilding gave that game to him with so many missed doubles. Had he hit HALF of the doubles he missed he would have won in straight sets. As usual though media going well ahead of themselves
At least it's taken attention away from the hype train known as Fallon Sherrock. She's starting to become nauseating through no fault of her own just because of the PDC.
@@stuffwithsoph8264 Yes she is good. That isn't being disputed. But the hype train around her is sickening and I'm fed up of her. If she looked like Lisa Ashton would she be given the same coverage? Contrary to most here, I think Littler being able to win a match like this is honestly going to do more for his confidence than the first match. I still think he's a contender for the title, not necessarily a favourite, but he's definitely still in the conversation.
My concern with littler is he’s peaked way to early at 16 to hit a 103 average at the worlds in his debut and then drop off significantly today shows that okay he got the win but by no means will that performance scare the top guys and with all the added pressure and publicity littler has from this tournament it could hinder his future it’s happened In other sports the natural behind closed doors progression is so important he’s been thrown into the brights way to early all you can hope is the top dogs in the tournament don’t beat him to badly and he still has his confidence going forwards but will be fascinating to see him vs Barney
