Make sure to always mark the fuel injectors so you know where each one should be plugged back in. Otherwise, nice video for such a complicated engine design.

Thanks for posting - helped me a lot when I replaced my injectors recently. Some comments: I removed the manifold without loosening or sliding out the variable intake valve. Why did you have to remove that? Just for clarity, the total number of bolts fixing the manifold is 9 ( 6 short ones and 3 long ones). You make it look very easy - took me more than 3 hours to remove the whole lot - I guess 2nd time will go quicker.

Excellent video! Do you know if it is possible to get to the starter motor by removing the Intake Manifold and the Air Filter box?

Some people say yes others say no in the comments on TH-cam so? I think it should be possible but then the bolts heads are mangled by some lunatics? You can always use pliers to get the bolts out yay

i want to know around how much does it is to replace throttle body, and my car is loosing speed , i was told it was the throttle body . can it be the harness wires making you loose speed as well? e320 mercedes 1995

first make sure your throttle body is mechanical type or electric motor driven; second if it is mechanical type it has attached a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and it could be the reason your car is not giving all the power. Then replace the TPS.

I have a 2010 Mercedes B200 Turbo, sometimes I hit the gas and only after 3-4 seconds, the engine wakes up suddenly and moves. This is sometimes fixed if I turn the car off and turn it back in but I never know when it happens again. Is it the throttle body? After cleaning or replacing it, how do I make the car relearn throttle in B200?

There are "better" odb2 handheld testers which can start the relearn cycle, usually after the battery was off for a long time it can relearn by pushing throttle 100% before ignition, the turn on ignition (no motor start) and then letting throttle off immediately after the ignition is on now(all the light are on) without starting the car. On the return way the body learns 100%-0% by the gas pedeal commands, that is how it worked on the early models

The variable intake valve has 2 bolts, nearly broke mine trying to force it out!

Looks like they welded the bolts. Damaged the Head and the one that fix the dipstick tube didn't move!
