The reason why many motorcycles are being apprehended is because they tend to slip through any free spaces on the road. Even on stoplights, they tend to occupy the front covering the pedestrian lanes which is a violation. This applies not to all riders since I see some waiting behind cars.
These riders are the no 1 violators even though they hold professional licenses that they should be obedient road rules at all times. Maybe they are Professional violators!

Besides the actual bus lane penalty, there should be warning penalties as well. If the enforcer asked for the third time, they should add another form of penalty.
idk how they can enforce this kind in the PH but the other day I was watching a bodycam of a police in USA making a traffic stop, there was a red light violator who also happen to be some kind of ex convict (so not suppose to be driving and other extra violations) the police came up to the guy asked for license and registration. driver said nah i dont need to, officer replied, "Yes you need to give them. Ok sir, I'm gonna ask you, then i'm gonna tell you, and i'm gonna make you". The guy ended up being chased, tasered, and arrested
The buses are dispatched based on demand. Having bumper to bumper buses would be a sign that the busway isn't working as it should. Adding more buses when they're not needed would cause congestion and queues at the bus stops.
@@GadgetAddictFair enough, just going by my rush hour bus commute in Sydney, there’s usually about 30 buses lined up behind each other bumper to bumper and each totally full. Question about lane splitting by motorcycles. I know there is a law in the ph that says lane sitting is illegal. Why do I keep seeing lane splitters in our roads?
He drove away while they were trying to get him to the side. They have the plate number. And obviously that vehicle has a history with the bus lane. Typically when a vehicle fails to stop, or runs away, a show-cause order is issued by LTO.
Because I see it all the time, and it was my wife's running mentality in the beginning. Not fixing something that has just broken, even a little bit. If more people here in the Philippines would perform preventative maintenance, and fix the little issues as they happen. Everything would be in overall better working condition. She gets it now and doesn't complain anymore when I say something little needs attention.
They should place 2 consecutive operations.. maybe at least a kilometer apart.. so they'll know if the motorists come back on using the bus lane and if someone ran they can radio the violators at the 2nd operation..
For those people who are mentioning that they know someone powerful, they will just ask someone inside to cancel the violation in the system and the one who processed it will get a small fee ranging 500 pesos to 1k.
I hope reforms come. Avoiding apprehension should be grounds for criminal offense and should warrant jail time besides the fine. Repeat offender pa yan I hope the LTO really does something about that white Staria

Why are these “bus lane” enforcers appear on selected areas in EDSA? You have 6-10 personnel in one or two areas but in the other parts of the highway, you can’t spot them. Especially in the Quezon City areas near Quezon Ave. Haven’t they thought of activating the traffic cameras again since for me, No Contact Apprehension worked.
