Beautiful shots as always Dan. We have had about a 6 inches of snow overnight and an amazing bluebird sky morning, one of those days that makes you glad to be alive if you know what I mean. Brings out the excited inner ten year old in me!
Dan, that is my favorite lift bridge. I saw it on a video called "Llangollen Canal - Late 1970's" and fell in love with it so I always try to spot it when vloggers are on the Llangollen. You gave me a close up view! On a beautiful snowy day! 🥰

Thank you! Yes, I have indeed sold up, but I am still always out and about on the canal and in the surrounding countryside! I originally had some clips of me walking up to the Trevor Basin talking about how cars couldn't get through the hilly village of Cefn or Trevor where I was walking from behind me, but I cut that out to get straight to the scenery!

In some places it will freeze very regularly during winter, but around this area on the main flow of the canal I have only seen it freeze once in the last decade! (The basin here with all the boats will freeze at some point during most winters though because it is basically standing water!)
Where is your partner? I realise that, while she may have tired of being "famous," it'd be nice to see her, no matter how briefly. Things like winter on a boat (32' sailboat, winter of '73-'74 at False Creek Marina in Vancouver) are much more tolerable with a partner. I speak from some experience.
