Beyoncé is definitely one of the best performers of all time, and she is also classified as a star vocalist. I suggest you watch her live performances like her Stevie wonder tribute! Lemonade is a great album, and is accompanied by the Lemonade visual film. It is concentrated on her husband Jay Z’s infidelity and black female empowerment. Her Coachella performance is also amazing and she released a documentary along with the entire concert on Netflix if you’re interested! Lemonade is a visual album. It's basically a movie made up of music videos/poems that tells the story of her finding out Jay Z was cheating and how they got through it all.
Adding to this. There is a reason why she was on this video, and Beyonce was sitting on that fine chair the way she was. It ties into the controversy over Serena winning the Sportsperson of the year award and appearing on the cover sitting in a chair similar to Beyonce, with her leg draped over one armrest, and she has a crown. She's also wearing a sexy black leotard. There was an uproar, mostly racist and sexist commenters attacking her for being chosen, as if she didn't deserve it. So, Beyonce put her in the video as a f.u. to the people who dumped all over Serena. She isn't sorry to be chosen. Something that society loves to do...especially here in America, is pour on the hate when Black Women achieve something and are celebrated. Looking at those comments, I could see them foaming at the mouth as they clacked away on their keyboards to say such ugly racist, sexist stuff...and threatened Sports Illustrated with wanting to cancel their subscriptions and etc. They call Serena a man and anything else you could think of. I'm glad Beyonce pays attention to what's going on, so she knew to support her. Btw, the Lemomade visual album's concept is her going the stages of grief. Notice the writing of which emotion she is going through at the beginning of the videos for this album. On Sorry it said "Angry". I'd say the last 4 albums, are very heavily themed out. Bey doesn't do a lot of explaining herself in interviews because she knows how her words get twisted in editing, so when she has a point to make, or clap back at the haters who attack her, she'll put it in a song so there's no mistaken what she wants to say.
