Great show! I have spent the past two days catching up with your recordings since October. I'm hoping illness is behind me now and I will be able to make the live shows a priority going forward. Thank you for being my companion in the sewing room!
Sew excited for the new pattern release. Can’t wait for feb 4th. Looks like they will be fast and great gift ideas. My goal is more productive and a better version of myself. Lots of love from Ontario, Canada. ❤❤
The most appreciated gift I gave this year was two nintendo games that I purchased for my hubby. He likes to play video games in the winter. From March to October he is busy in the yard looking after gardens or in his garage building or fixing stuff.
This was an extra helpful show! I've been wanting to experiment with waxed canvas. This has really lit a fire under my butt to make this happen! My New Year's resolution is to do yoga every day.
I made a quilted denim crossbody phone pouch with an ID window and a turn lock for a family member that wanted to give it to another family member as a present. It was my own design and they both loved it! I was beaming!
I guess I can say that organizing my sewing room is my resolution. I ordered 200 comic book boards & have already folded 98 pieces of fabric on to the boards. I love now when I open those 2 drawers that I don't have to dig through fabrics to see what I have. All of my 1/2+ cuts are visible & arranged nicely.. I know have 2 more larger drawers & 3 totes to organize (so perhaps 200 more comic book boards are in my future)! It will be so much more fun to create in a lovely sewing room💕
Thank you! That was a great interview. I'm watching this a couple of weeks after original air date. I see that you carry the Otter Wax! I have a couple of pieces of waxed cotton (Merchant & Mills) and some sourced here in Canada. I love your colours! Can't wait to sew these from my stash and order some of your gorgeous ones. Thanks for your amazing show, as always.
I unfortunately haven’t made anything yet, but my favorites are the Crimson and Clover train case and the Stingray tote. I would be so proud of myself if I made either pattern.
Love your hair, Sara. Love those Kai snips. I didn’t know they made them that small. Thanks! My little snips I use for EPP must have been dropped enough that they aren’t working so well anymore. I am sad because I love them. Maybe I should spoil myself with new snips.
Thank you for this interesting Interview !Wachs kanvas is new that was for me ! I have made wachs material to keep food fresh but didn t know i could use it for bags ! Great idea !,,,😊
Really interesting discussion on waxed canvas - I have made several waxed canvas slings and knapsacks, I have also quilted waxed canvas several times and I use headliner foam on the interior
I have also used dry oilskin fabric which comes from Merchant & Mills in the UK (I am in Canada). Dry oilskin combined with waxed canvas is a really nice combination
Great interview! And loved your show, so much information! May have to watch again! My goal for 2024 is to be happier, to view the negative things in a different light and try one new thing. I'm considering learning how to crochet or play a guitar.

My New Year's resolution is to work on my UFOs AND to get at some of the dream projects staring me in the face! Loved this podcast, and can't wait to get some waxed canvas!
Great show! I always wanted to try waxed canvas but don't really want to clean up the mess after lol so an option for fabric that looks like waxed canvas but doesn't leave a waxy residue would be awesome lol This year, I plan to try to do more selfish sews and focus more on my health. I also plan to do more events for my business and just enjoy life more.
My grandniece asked me to sew a bag for her favorite teacher. My niece was thrilled with the bag, and so was her teacher
I love the That's Sew Nova morning Captains log every morning .
