Plucky penguins Skipper (Tom McGrath), Kowalski (Chris Miller), Rico (Conrad Vernon) and Private (Christopher Knights) -- the most elite spies ever hatched -- join forces with a chic undercover organization known as the North Wind. A show I’d recommend watching is “Primal” by gennedy tarakovsky. I think you’d really enjoy it and it is now airing it’s second season

Let’s be honest, those four were the only reason we watched the Madagascar franchise. They absolutely deserved their own spin-off movie.
I watched Madagascar because of the Lemurs, mainly because I watched All Hail King Julien before actually watching the movies

I love the commands Dave gives to his minions all being celebrity names. Some of them get pretty creative.

This movie is a great spinoff for Madagascar even if it goes over the top, it's still funny and gives Private a good redemption story from the other films

Welll if the penguins are dead, he cant make the penguins experience the years of pain he felt...probably?
I mean it seems like his plan was to subject the Penguins to the disgust that he received before they died. I also think people forget that exterminators kill animals, meaning that had they not won, the mutated penguins would’ve all been killed.

Mort was never "normal"; also there are a bunch of other spin-offs if you'd be interested in watching them: "Penguins of Madagascar" (TV show), various holiday specials, "All Hail King Julian", and "All Hail King Julian: Exiled" which focus on events before the movies...
Did you know that Benedict Cumberbatch has difficulty pronouncing "penguins" correctly? You can even hear it throughout the whole movie.
Funny since it was first noticed when he did a documentary voice-over on some species including penguins before this movie.

This movie was sooooo funny, and it still is too, as a kid it was silly, but I now appreciate all of jokes for adults too.

If you ever decide to watch All Hail King Julien on your own, just know that another show called All Hail King Julien: Exiled takes place and came out between season 4 and 5
The part where the news crew pushed the penguins off the cliff is a subtle nod/diss to Disney because in the 1950s there was a crew filming nature films. One recorded lemmings "harming" themselves by jumping off the cliff. It wasn't revealed until later that the film crew threw them off the cliff on purpose because it created something interesting to watch
Underrated flick. Don't think it lives up to the other three, but still fun.
I have referenced so many of this movies lines and it's still enjoyable as an adult. The part that gets me is Skipper saying "That's why your a valuable member of this team" to everyone except Private 😂.

Private became the true hero in this movie he is so cute and they love him.
Even Skipper Kowalski and Rico saved Private in a egg when it hatched and Kowalski was being silly about what they were nodding about right now but he is still the brains. And Skipper the leader he's their Skipper and funny when he says Dave's name wrong lol

This spinoff Madagascar movie is entertaining, but I have more of a personal attachment to the spinoff TV show of the same name, The Penguins of Madagascar, that came out before this movie, on Nickelodeon.
As much as I love the penguins in all of the Madagascar movies, I think I have the same opinions as I did with the Minions movie; funny side characters (though arguably more popular than the main characters) are better as side characters and not main characters in their own movie. I WILL say I like this one more than the Minions movie, only because at how absolutely crazy and unhinged it is! I mean the 3rd Madagascar movie was crazy, but its maybe the first 20 minutes and it gets a bit more focused. This movie? Focused? Not at all! Also the celebrity name puns was actually funny and creative. If you want another animated bird movie though, I would recommend Storks. Its an underrated Warner Brothers movie that is actually really sweet and has great Looney Tune-type humor!
Yo. This movie is almost ten years old and i didn’t notice the name puns of the octopuses until you pointed them out🤣🤣🤣🤣. Like one of then is Hugh, and one is Jake and they mannef the battle stations. All those together made Hugh Jackman🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Four penguins were pretty fun to watch in this movie and the others and so were King Julien's Group! I love your reactions as usual Tim and I hope your channel grows till 100k someday! :)
I loved the penguin series and when the movie came out it was incredible!

Dreamworks was bought by many studios, when Dreamworks Animation first started, it was their own studio, but in 2006 Dreamworks animation was purchased by Paramount, then in 2012, Fox had bought DreamWorks animation, and then in 2016, DreamWorks was bought by and still is to this day by Universal

Dave the octopus being shrunken down and trapped in a snow globe is the perfect punishment since the little girl would end up shaking the snow globe
For those who didn’t understand the Medusa Serum gimmick, I can easily explain: Medusa was turned into a monster by Athena. The serum changes adorable into hideous and monstrous
That part where the documentary crew was a reference to a Disney documentary where they shoved some cute little lemmings off a cliff

If I had to love any of the penguins it Rico he really funny. I'm happy that the penguins got a movie origin story of their own.
I mean- i dont hate the movie, Penguins have been my entire childhood, especially the show but... It doesn't have the same vibe as the show had plus the ,,simplified" Private's personality. I mean, come on he had more personality traits than ,, I'm adorable". And i kinda wished they added another villain from the original show like Hans, Savio, Dr. Blowhole etc. Like i said- i dont hate the movie. It's just... Good. Nothing more, nothing less.
That was the whole lesson of the movie tho. The movie simplified Private’s “cuteness” factor in order to make a point that there’s more to just Private then being the “cute one”. He showed bravery tons of times and while the others never really noticed, he’s also observant and selfless.
Skipper’s personality is quite different in the movies too.
Little fun fact from Poland: Penguins of The Madagascar (TV series) are still in broadcast in Polish TV continuosly from 2008.
Between thanks to polish dubbing (which is a bit different to original), but I think that a concept itself still works.
And this is the worst problem in Poland about this movie: They expected a TV series adaptation, but they got a movie trilogy spin-off.
But its still a good movie.

Personally, in terms of spin-offs featuring the Penguins, I prefer the series.
But then again, that one was, well, a series while this one is one single movie.

Ah the Penguins of Madagascar movie, Yet another crazy but fun enjoyable installment of the Madagascar franchise that focuses on I believe everybody favorite professional crew of top class spy skills trained penguins. Speaking of penguins you should totally react to the 2006 animated movie Happy Feet whenever you'll get the chance, another childhood favorite but also just a overall real good but pretty dark on some levels animated movie that is also very penguin-related with some real good music along with great animation and including a really well done story with a nice message going with it too.

I don't know why but when I saw this film (obviously when I was younger) I always to this day (I'm 16 now) wonder what would Alex and classified interaction would be like I found them both interesting (probably because one is a lion. Known as kings of the jungle. And the other is a wolf mostly seen as leaders) they are also associated with a big cat and dog (weird I know) I also didn't see a trailer or anything for this movie me and my family were just eating out and when I was younger I was allowed to go into a play area that time (yes they had a play area the eating place was called "Spur") I saw they were playing the movie on a small tv screen and years later it played on a Saturday on a movie channel (And yes I have seen the show but I wasn't so into it back then) and that's how it's my favorite movie to this day.
