Great summary of how the app works. I have watched numerous videos you’ve made and you always make them easy to follow. Thanks
thanks for watching!
nice evolution in parallel with the version for iPad. absolutely to try. your presentation video is enlightening. like always. THANKS
thanks so much for watching!
Great intro to the new app Jim!😀
thanks for watching!
Great news for iPhone users. When can we expect Android version?
Good question and I don't know but I do think they will make an Android version at some point.
New to the mobile version and disappointed that after being a long time desktop user that there is no free or at least discounted mobile version
can you use luminar for tethering with a cable to a camera?
Luminar needs a Lifetime option to purchase.
It works well. I have been using it in the iPad before ; I like the layout better on the iPhone version.
Glad you liking it!
@@JimNix I hope they add the ability to use it as an extension from photos as I like to work from that and edit vs opening the app and doing it from there.
@@ThePNWRiderWA hmm that would be interesting for sure
nice review. is mobile app included in luminar neo and x-memebership subscription ? does this app consider marketplace presets like yours... ?
Thanks Marc and it is a separate subscription from Neo and Lum-X. Marketplace presets are only for the desktop app at this time.
Jim - how does the mobile app interact with the mobile app. Is there a way to share images for edited across mobile and the desktop?
This app is not connected in any way to your Luminar catalog so you would have to share between devices (AirDrop etc) to keep it in sync. I think they are looking at ways to connect them in the future.
Really interesting Jim! I assume this will also work if you shot RAW on your iPhone?
thanks Carl and yes, just like the iPad app
Been testing this on the iPhone 14 pro and the interface is messed up. Filed a report but nothing has been fixed. Most notably, the SHARE button only shows SHA.
Oh that's weird, it's fully spelled out on my iPhone, but I don't have the 14 Pro.
Do you have your screen fonts magnified perhaps? That's still an issue even on Windows.
I’m surprised u got roped in to this😊. Why use this app when Snapseed and the Lightroom app give u so much more control?
Even the iPhone edits give u as many options as this app. Yes … u have that body editing with Luminar but I will bet u that with multiple people Luminar crashes and burns
...so Skylum left a halfbaked IMGMI on Android and did a completely new app for Apple. And the funny bit is I bought the IMGMI which to me has much potential...now it's a white elephant on my Android....☹☹☹
Hmm, I totally forgot about IMGMI. I never even had that app. I am hopeful they make this one for Android too.
Some of us don't use Apple products. 😢
Totally understood. Hopefully they make it in Android too.
This app is useless on iPhone without Landscape UI if you are a Landscape/Cityscape Photographer.
I agree it would be better but I wouldn't call it useless - but it does depend on what you intend to do with the images
@@JimNix Just curious - Why did you choose a Landscape photo shot in Portrait mode to Edit???
@@petergladstein7154 I just liked the photo and thought it was a good demo of what you can do with the app
Screw iPhone, what about Android users? We shoot great photos also. Luminar sucks.
Android users 🖕
