@Commendatore no it doesnt have an sharp steering,it is so good build that after so many year the colour of the car is in great shape and generally the car when you clean it its like a new.
I have the 2009 model currently on 62,000 miles. Hasn't let me down in 2 years. Literally nothing apart from replacing front pads and discs. Obviously that doesn't count. Only thing I can fault is, I have the 1. 4 manual, and it's sluggish in the hot weather, runs much better in the cold or at night when it's cooler on the summer. And the blind spot on the front pillars is really bad... Like very bad
Im getting one Friday. The automatic. I understand the CVT fluid needs replacing and can be quite expensive. That say. If it's changed often it's reliable right?
Best city cars (all Jazzs, old too) in the world. Absolutely non problematic. I drove from UK to Poland and back in Honda 2005 that i bought for £800. I didnt havr a feeling i was driving something small. Very comfortable even during very long runs. I made 1800km one way. If you want a csr which does not ask you for more than fuel then here you go. A must have on every driveway.
Got one last week. The boot is immense and so useful for carrying all the musical equipment I need (no other car I've driven in the past could fit my guitar case, but this did), and it does feel nippy, eager and easy to see out of. I've to agree about the jittery ride and road noise, and the clutch takes some getting used to, but I enjoy this car.
I haven't driven another car as fun as my 2009 Jazz. No understeer, pulls directly out of turns and fast bends, lift-off oversteer, direct steering. Honda did a brilliant job on the suspension, gearbox and engine. Interior is a doddle to use, too.
this honda jazz is literally a legendary car here in Japan(the name here is Honda Fit). It's one of the best selling compact hatch and no other compact cars can beat jazz in terms of inside capacity and good fuel economy. and it's also got bullet proof reliability, my mom bought her a 2004 jazz but it hasn't had any trouble since then. I think a jazz is a lot better choice than a toyota prius considering its price.
I'm got this car and I have to say it's brilliant. I'm drove it to Slovakia from uk and back with no problem...Honda Jazz1.4 executive does the job perfectly.
That "really fat A-pillar", in the unfortunate case that you're in an accident and your car flips up-side down, will keep you from getting crushed. Honda designed this car with occupant safety in mind. I owned a 2011 Honda Fit (Jazz) when I lived in U.S. The Honda Jazz (Fit) is an excellent car, well made, fun to drive, reliable, economical, roomy, and it has good all around visibility. Now that I live outside of the U.S., I plan on buying another Honda Jazz very soon. This is a great car.
I'm a new proud jazz owner. It's an absolute joy to drive with the only thing broken being the aux port cover turning into goop. But that's more a problem with rubber.
Picked up a new 1.2 last week, this review is pretty accurate. It has amazing space for the size - yet some 2 feet shorter than my previous car, a Skoda Octavia. Well screwed together. Bit noisy from 60mph upwards. Ride's a bit firm, but nowhere near the horror story that you would imagine, a Fiesta / Corsa is only marginally better. Really light to drive, trade-off is that it doesn't handle like a Fiesta, but hey, that's the Daddy of handling.
My wife drives the 1.5 Sport, purchased new in Nov 08 and has been a fantastic little car. Only downside is our model doesn't have stability control but the later models do. Like the look of the new Civic Euro, upgrade time perhaps!!
I own a 2012 model and is definitely a great car to drive, very handy space considering the class and size of this car. The only thing I don't like is the exterior panel work. I noticed you can make little dents(un- intentional) easier than the previous cars I owned(hiace, mazda 3, Honda civics...)

well the jazz is the fit for the uk. the jazz hybrid is going to be the 2015 fit hybrid. most of the uk honda models are from other honda or acura models. for example, the accord saloon is the acura tsx sedan, and the accord tourer is the tsx sport wagon. civic is crosstour, and the rest are the same in the us
They make you pay extra for everything nowadays. To bad most of the older ones I see, do not have a button to turn off the traction control in the snow.

Mr/Ms Complainer: not everyone wants to tart up their car. Given the car in question your comment is five star ludicrous. I applaud Honda's different approach in making this particular product look bland. Personally I'm not remotely bothered whether or not my vehicle attracts attention; I don't regard the thing as a sporty set of wizz‐wheels because it was never designed as such. "Horses for courses" and all that 'Jazz'. From your 'interesting' remark it sounds to me as if you'd be happier with a jet‐propelled pushchair whilst sucking a dummy.
But with the Fiat 500 which hasn't got such a large A pillar is stronger as proven by the IIHS (insistute for highway safety with got a better strength to weight ratio of 6.16, in comparison to the fit (jazz) which got a ratio of 5.02 strength to weight ratio.
