Thank you for this excellent GO By video. Your videos continue to save the day for me and other Jeep YJ owners. The information in your videos is timeless. I find myself using your videos for help a year or two after I have seen your original video. I do a quick review of the video and see I have already given you a "thumbs up!" I hope you get credit for my constant use of your channel. Carry On Sir!
@@Poweraddicts It's been giving me so many problems lately and the transmission just went out to top it off. I actually ended up getting a sweet Black Friday deal on a 2021 Toyota Tacoma so that's my new daily. Don't think I'm going to have to end up selling the YJ as of now. If I keep it I plan on doing a full build on it and use it strictly as an off-road toy versus a daily driver. Pretty excited about that idea!
Hello there! Looking for replacing the gauge cluster on my '88 YJ . Please send me that link of yours doing it. Already suscribed. Mine is completely corroded and fk up 😔
My plug unit has been cleaned so many times. I'd to replace that whole bar of gauges with summit 2" gauges closer to the steering wheel where i can seem them vs leaning over to the passenger side to read.
Recently the gauges and speedometer on my 1994 yj go haywire when I turn on the headlights. My research tells me I may have a ground problem. After watching your video I'm gonna run a ground wire from the battery to the gauge cluster grounds that you pointed out to see if that will fix my problem. If you can think of anything it may be please let me know. Thank you so much for making jeep yj videos.
Hey, here is a BIG TIP when dealing with/cleaning the gauge cluster. ONLY USE LENSE CLEANER OR GLASSES CLEANER CLOTH. Mostly the inside of the clear clover is untouched and just needs to be rinsed with water. The outside, clean like you would your a par of glasses. If you scrub or try to clean it up, you will scratch it and make it foggy. Yes, i'm speaking from experience. or lack of experience. dammit.
97 is a TJ cluster. As for swapping any clusters. Anything can be done if you have the skills. It will not be a direct swap due to wiring, sensors and mounting differences.
I have a question every time I put my gas pedal to move forward even when I'm in 5th gear the Jeep seems to have some kind of Swag to it when I accelerate is that normal

I have a YJ with flickering dash lights... Any ideas?
If all of them are flashing at the same rate, good possibility it is a bad ground.
Is there a way to swap the 97-91 gauge cluster for the 92-95 gauge cluster?

Hi buddy can I install a 91 yj clock to a 93
I just looked at my 93's cluster. I'm not going to say it can't be done. But it will take a bit of work to make it happen.
My 99 TJ Wrangler has a straight to blur bar is on the bottom I need a tire holder for what is a good Tire holder to get for the Jeep
There are many on the market. Just don't go too cheap or they will start tearing at the welds from the base metal being too thin.

Thank you!
