What Going Grey Taught Me About My Hair (is my straight hair actually curly?!)

Today I'm sharing what going grey taught me about my hair, and how after a lifetime of straight hair, it's no longer as straight as I thought!
My grey hair transition was the reason I made this discovery. In this video, I share some past photos and what exactly led me to this realization.

I’m also growing out my hair and trying to let it’s natural curl come out. I’ve been coloring since grade school and straightening it since jr high so hopefully all of this will mean healthy hair for once! Lol! yours is looking great

Can you talk about what products are good for caring for grey hair which is usually more coarse and dry.

I do the cgm and have for years.... I do feel as we age our hair "can' become curlier because when I was younger I thought it was straight but it's not. I LOVE cgm it's the best... it can be product , product , product and what works for our hair. Onward with the going grey journey.... to see what will happen... YES please share what you are using

It's interesting that you talked about this because I used to have straighter hair before dye, and now it's really curly, so I was wondering if I grew out my natural hair again would it go back to being more straight or not. Curls are fun, but I can't commit to the curly girl method 100%. I do like to still style my hair once in a while. Your waves look cute though.

Thank you! It will be interesting to see how your hair changes over time. I definitely don't do the curly girl method right now, as it felt too overwhelming when I learned about it. But I am having fun playing with it. I agree that it's nice to style my hair once in a while, too.
