Hey Devin, I'd look into a poly rear engine mount!! It will reduce your wheel hop to almost nothing. I have a Perrin rear poly bushing and haven't had any wheel hop since install!!
As a lot of people commented anti lag makes these engines go boom. Also these cars seem to be difficult for people unfamiliar with the platform to tune. 330whp on a downpipe car seems a little low even on a mustang dyno.

Man those new Civic type r are crazy. It took a TO4B50 trim and 26 psi on race gas, for me to hit 330 WHP and 371 WTQ in my probe. And I was 18° of timing advance. I drove a 21 CTR that had 380whp 404wtq and it was fast as shit.
Great video as always. Anti lag sounds sick haha. Know a guy claiming his Type R (Air intake. No other mods. Stock tune) can take out 400whp (Dynojet) Evo's and Sti's. Knew it was all talk.
I am glad you really like the Type R, if I could afford two cars that would probably my other. I was so sad when you said Evo owners should sell and get a Honda. :( I know you were just super happy but I love my Evo X. She isn't perfect or the best at everything. But I have had no issues with the car almost 4 years, daily driving and not beating the crap out of it. She rowdy, loud, vibrates. But the motor and turbo are beautiful. Words cannot explain.
I own and type R with 380 hp and an 500 hp Evo 8. And I dont get why hes so impressed by the stock power and about it being fast. Especially with him having powerful evos. The AWD on the evo puts all the power easily down. till 60 mph the type R struggles for traction. Especially if i see him having wheel spin in the winter with even more wheel spin resulting in wheel hop and not much forward motion😂 . But the type R is a rly nice daily and such a nice place to sit in. I still miss the awd traction out of corners when u push the pedal down. No comparisson. 2 totally different cars in my opinion. The evo with all the mods is meant to be driven hard and fast. Horrible ride comfort to cruise around with all the mods. And you driving an evo X should be a decent mix out of both worlds.
4 wheel drive are fun rear wheel drive are fun but frunt wheel drive when it hooks are even more fun and i have had them all.my mk1 seat leon is like that and evey body that has bean in it are shockd lol.

is this due to their weak head gasket/open deck design? Because in terms of power they can easily handle 500hp just with a bigger turbo.
