I may not win the figure, even though I am a subscriber, I must admit you made some quite interesting choices. On a personal note when it comes to Megatron's looks before he became Galvatron I preferred the ROTF design if only because it looked more menacing and he was a triple changer as well.
One of the things I love about Crosshairs’ design is that the paratrooper/gun-toting look feels like a subtle callback to his G1 Targetmaster function.
Fun fact, sideswipes alt mode vette is literally one of a kind. It was a concept model made for the movie, and then for whatever reason they redesigned it. So that silver Corvette stingrays is the only one on the planet
Actually, there are two silver Corvette stingrays; a 2009 model used for Revenge of the Fallen, and a 2011 model used for Dark of the Moon. There aren't very noticeable differences but I do recall reading there were two different models used.
It could be they weren’t produced because they’re both ugly as all hell guys. I’m a corvette fan and I do get the nods to previous corvettes from the past but when you compare what we actually got to the concepts, the concept is truly too rounded and not aggressive enough. It’s just an ugly car period.
Honestly I’ve always loved Meg in the Dark of the moon. His face all messed up with it sparking and the bots crawling on him all over the place. Plus the chains and rust, gives him a cool design.
And the Mad Max truck mode was just the icing on the cake. It says a lot when just the vehicle mode of a transformer accurately displays their character. It's something the Bay films did very well, and is something no doubt the reboot is completely going to abandon for the sake of G1 accuracy.
My all time favorite design in the movies is my all time favorite Cybertronian, Grimlock. Not because he's my favorite character, but because he looks barbaric, with his tyrannosaur heads as shoulder guards. He is just...AWESOME!!!
Grimlock in the films is awesome! He reminds me so much of the ol' school rough, cyberpunk-heavy metal look of the 1980s rotoscoping films like Heavy Metal and Fire and Ice. One look at him, even standing next to the Spinosaurus, who is a bigger, you can tell who is still king of the dinos.

Personally I love Jazz's sleek and silver design. It modernizes Jazz while still making callbacks to his original appearance. His signature visors and unique crescent blaster make him an all around amazing autobot.
If he would be written in from the begining the whole movie could be more interesting, famous scenes like the forrest battle could run out differently, such a shame he was a last minute addition
My favourite design is sideswipes I love how he’s Silver and has wheels for feet and his two blades are awesome. I just remember the first sence he was in and how cool he looked and he instantly became my favorite character in the films. I I also like Optimus primes and shockwaves.
Am I the only one who’s not a huge fan of his design, I’m not a big fan of the silver, the blades shape looks weird and I hate how the back of the car is so prominent on his chest. I think Hot Rod deserves to be on this list
It is most definitely his best design, even across the whole franchise. Hopefully the next movie gives him his wings back. That was a huge mistake on Travis' part.
2 things: 1. I’m pretty sure TFP Bumblebee was the tallest version of Bee, around 20 feet or so 2. If you count the Bumblebee movie, Bee has had 11 designs across these movies
Tf 4 has one the best looking character designs that really work out with the robot's personality and quirks, but i can't wait to see what the upcoming movies will offer.
I liked the story but i disliked how they made the autobots and decepticons more human like bc it made it harder for non-fans to tell what they transform into
Jolt was literally made to advertise the car. It was thrown in very late in the movie. But I guess all the coolest designs belong to the background characters. I love Jolt too
Blackout is my favorite. The most destructive and efficient Decepticon, he was also our introduction to this species. Humanoid in form, but definitely alien. He should have been Soundwave, the henchmen who actually gets things done.
TraynArt i think everything is said about shockwave works better for blackout, he’s bigger (depending on who you ask) and his weapons are a lot more powerful than both megaton and shockwave
For some of my favorite designs I gotta go with the dinobots. I’ve always loved the concept of dinosaur robots and these versions were an instant hit. They combined two different time periods into one group of seemingly unstoppable fire breathing robo dinos. Their robot modes look like medieval armor and their dinosaur modes emphasized their deadly nature. Strafes two heads. Scorns tail whip for an arm. As well as his three sails instead of two. These dinobots were an excellent way to bring the film to a climactic close. Because where they lacked in numbers they made up for in absolute raw dinosaur might.
All this effort for one character, change his name, change his accent, no guns. If I was Michael Bay I would’ve just not used a Ferrari but at least Dino/ Mirage turned out cool 😂
Not enough love for Shockie out there, so you earned my respect and subscription. I prefer Shockwave from G1, but I do find Shockwave from the film rather cute with his mandibles... it actually makes him have a sense of connection to his Driller pet. I could imagine him raising a Driller as a tiny pup and using those mandibles as a form of bonding mechanism. The Driller views Shockwave as a mother. It is only logical. Even with that said, my all time favorite design from the Bayformers films would have to be Grimlock. Both his robot mode and alt mode were really well put together and done right for the forth film. Seeing him on the big screen brought back childhood memories how I obsessed over dinosaurs. It was magic to me.
I like movie Shockwaves face, it's like a demonic version of Gray Fox's helmet from Metal Gear, primes knight form is like an updated G2 hero prime, sideswipe look was summed up perfectly by thew as *Neo Sideswipe X* and as for Crosshairs, dudes like a green hotshot
Shockwave tho extremely different from his g1 counter part is one of my fav bayformer designs..yeah shockwave is a logical scientist in g1 but in the bayverse shockwave is a brute which his design reflects that
Sentinel Prime actually has a pretty decent design. It's not over the top and comes off to be mostly clean. They basically made Leonard Nimoy into a Autobot double agent. Although, Shatter might just be my favorite alongside Optimus (2018).
I for one liked all the dinobots cool knight like designs. My favorite has to be bonecrusher. His Feet wheels are creative and cool. His face design is very scary and intimidating. Also his shovel is a cool weapon and accessory like third arm
Honestly, Crosshairs is one of my favorite. He’s that guy who cares about no one but himself, but is super talented. Oh, and I made this comment before I saw the numbers.
I absolutely love, Crosshair’s, design. From the first time I saw him in the film I was in love with that opened trench coat, outlaw look. It reminds me of, Vash the Stampede... Trigun.
The trilogy Optimus looks pretty dope. I was a fan of that design for the longest especially TF3 when he gets more armor pieces. But I just love AOE Optimus more.
@@NexusProductions-rz1sv oh god I’d hate to think of him as bulkhead the only thing they have similar is there green and fat. IMO I hate the hound design mainly the head the legs are good really like where the wheels are but the neck is my least favorite part
@@nylok4566 Except he is actually a pretty good depiction of Bulkhead. Prime Bulkhead for his looks, a splash of Energon Bulkhead's personality, it's all there.
I gotta say i love all of the bots designs from the first movie but the one i like the most is bonecrusher. Michel bay took just a bland combiner part with no character and made him unique with a different alt mode from g1, a third arm/claw and made him awesome as hell.
I loved the character design of Dino/Mirage and Sideswipe! Mirage was my favorite in the Dark of the Moon video game I loved the way he transforms and his arm blades were my choice of weapon as his melee attack was just awesome to witness. Sideswipe I loved because his design was just cool as he transforms and his doors looked like wings on his back. His swords were retractable and just cool to look at and the way he just zooms around on his two wheels just makes his combat style probably the most unique in all of the films. If was just a shame he didnt have more screen time
My favourite robot design from the Michael bay movies has to be jazz from TF1. His design evokes the character pretty well even the way he transforms evokes a lot of the G1 character
Although I didn't like the movie, I have to admit that my favorite design is TLK Optimus Prime. I think it's cool that they went for a new original design instead of trying to recreate his G1 design like in the previous movies (which in my opinion, didn't look very good), and I just liked his whole knight aesthetic. Other designs I thought were good are Reboot Bumblebee and Soundwave, because they are G1 accurate but at the same time they fit in with the modern designs (this concept could easily be applied to almost every character in the movie, but I chose them because they're the coolest in my opinion)
Thank you! Thank you for defending Galvatron, everybody says he’s ugly and a bad choice, but he was just on target. He looked futuristic, op and menacing, plus the color palette really helped him to outstand from the rest of the villains in the franchise
my favourite designs are definitely megatron from the last knight and optimus from the last knight, something about their sleek and knightly designs, along with megatron’s fusion cannon and armoured design with his cool battle mask just gets to me.
Interesting fact; The Cybertronian society/culture does have their own version of Bushido... it's called Metallikato, and it's famous practitioner of this archaic form of fighting of all time is Bludgeon. I always thought, upon first seeing the designs online, was that Drift in the Bayformers was going to be Bludgeon till I actually saw the film and got disappointed that he wasn't. Maybe the back story is that Drift was once Bludgeon himself or a student/follower of Bludgeon and changed sides. Would be awesome to see that being made into a movie. I could go on, especially the UK version of the comics that go into details about Bludgeon, but I'll take my TF comic book fan-ass elsewhere. ^_^ He is my second favorite TF char.
My favorite has to be Soundwave.Sure he did look like a smaller version of Megatron but me being a personal fan of the Mercedez AMG won me over.Also his tentacles showed how he could torture you in many different ways, a small design choice that was somewhat was taken over on Transformers Prime Soundwave.
Primes look 1-3 is just so much more intimidating in battle in my eyes. He got weaker in the later films. With no ion blasters, I just can’t get into the new look.
I think my favorite designs would be... Optimus’ Knight armor from AOE and TLK: It’s different from the standard Optimus design, but it still carries a similar Optimus vibe. It’s different, but at the same time, you can tell it’s supposed to be Optimus Prime. And the Knight design looks so much more clean than before, less jagged parts and a more smooth body design. Not only makes him look like a strong and honorable warrior, but also a a recognizable one. The second would be Bumblebee’s look in the Bumblebee film: Not only for the G1 design, but also how short he is (fitting for the youngest scout of the group), and the lack of door wings, I was a little sick of the door “bee wings” on the character. And I like how he was a small compact car and a Jeep in the film, which I find more fitting than a muscle car; not that I hate the muscle car modes, but I feel like a smaller vehicle would be more fitting for someone like Bumblebee.
1:37 Jolt: Despite his very little screentime. I like his design from the ROTF toyline. It says it all. 1:48 Shockwave: I really dig his character. He has that gladiator look to him with the blade on his left arm and his famous atm cannon in the other. From the eye and mouth is cool. I just wish he haf more screentime and more of the purple color we all know. 4:15 Bumblebee: I prefer his high octane verison from AOE. Where he's mostly black then yellow. 5:55 Shatter and Dropkick: Original robots with an original design. They look badass and as mean as the Decepticons. 7:33 Galvatron: So metallic, unlike his toys. He really does look good. I still wish he had the purple color scheme like his G1 self. But he still remains a awesome character design. 8:53 AOE/TLK Optimus/Nemesis Prime: His Autobot knight in shiny armor character design is really cool. 11:29 Drift: I won't argue. The Autobot samurai looks awesome. I actually have the Studio Series heilcopter verison of himand I like that design. 12:53 Sideswipe: He needs no introduction. 13:58 Crosshairs: From the guns to his parachute. I dig this green and black trench coat wearing Autobot character design.
My top 10 (not in order) favorite Transformers live action character designs for these: -DOTM Ratchet -ROTF Skip -TF1 Bonecrusher -AOE Hound -DOTM Shockwave -TLK Nitro Zeus -DOTM Shockwave -ROTF/DOTM Sideswipe -AOE/TLK Optimus Prime -TLK Megatron
My number one is demolisher/ scavenger mostly because when I saw trotf I instantly fell in love with the amount of destruction and the sleek design using massive wheels to move around.
Barricade is my favorite design. The first Bayverse movie came out on my birthday that year... I loved Barricade as soon as I saw him. Yeah, I was also terrified by him, but it was awesome to see a police car transformer on the big screen. Barricade is so iconic as a police car now, the Micromaster he's named after needed to get renamed.
I know the Bay era designs are really controversial for being such radical departures for what fans were used to from Transformers, but I’m glad they exist. They opened fans up to more outlandish designs and have some really cool takes on the characters. My personal top 10: 1. DOTM Optimus Prime 2. Sentinel Prime 3. Sideswipe 4. DOTM Megatron 5. TLK Barricade 6. Drift 7. Jolt 8. Crosshairs 9. Bumblebee 10. Hound
My top 10 Transformers 10. Drift- the samurai motif makes no sense, but it makes him look cool and hes got some wicked swords. 9. Laserbeak- kinda a weird pick, but I like his jagged wings and how it looks like the designers took inspiration from vultures. 8. Ratchet- His solor scheme is unique, the beard makes no sense but it makes him stand out, and he always had a presence because of it. 7. Sideswipe- wheels. The mans got wheels and swords. That is all 6. Soundwave ROTF- Despite having little screen time and not having the classic voice, I still think hes a decent representation, with a unique alternate form. You don't see many transformers that turn into satellites. 5. Megatron ROTF- With 5 megatron designs, ROTF to me encapsulates the character, with a cybetronian, jagged look, a great alternate mode that both flies and runs, and a wicked arm canon that is a good riff on G1 megaton's arm canon. 4. Ironhide- Lots of ironhide's personality shines through thanks to his design. Big, bulky, and with tons of guns, you GET it. 3. Og Optimus Prime- While I like the new knight aesthetic, I prefer the more realistic look of the original, it really feels like a truck turned robot, and it's the closest design to G1 before Bumblebee. 2. Bumblebee- Theres a reason I have bought 3 versions of this character. It's so simple yet stands out amongst his comrades. Can't go wrong 1. Shockwave- Looks sick, is a great take on the classic designs looking menacing, unique, and badass. In other words, it embodies shockwave.
My favorite designs are the reboot versions in the Bumblebee movie, something about it just looks really cool... ...or just because I like simple designs instead of overcomplicated ones
My favorite design out of all of them would be Grindor. I can't really explain why, but his design just clicked for me. I love how his helicopter blades sit on his back. 2nd place goes to Drift. I love his samurai inspired style, and I find it awesome that he can both turn into a car and a helicopter. For 3rd, I'd pick Barricade, because he looks intimidating and awesome.

I cant wait to see how a Studio Series figure will pull off his look. Or hell, maybe even a MPM Crosshairs. Whichever comes first i guess. 💯
I loved all of the Transformers movies,and can't wait to see what they have in store for any future movies,and i have always loved the Transformers ,and i even heard that they are plaining on doing a beast wars(beast machines) movie as well..
One thing I agree with Micheal Bey was some g1 designs where recolors and just a different head mold. Jazz (even though Jazz and Bumblebee should have switched sizes), Ironhide, Blackout, Ratchet, Lockdown, Drift, and R.O.T.F/ T.L.K Megatron.
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you doing these videos dude. Most of TF fandom just celebrates G1 (which I love too), but I grew up with the Bayverse and it’s always cool to see it get love. 90% of my Bayverse love comes from the designs alone, which makes this video perfect for me. EDIT: Almost forgot, my Top 10! 1. Optimus Prime (‘07) 2. Megatron (ROTF) 3. Sideswipe 4. Blackout 5. Starscream 6. Shockwave 7. Ironhide 8. Devastator 9. Grimlock 10. I have been a fan of Transformers since GH1 but regarding the live action movies, I like Bumblebee the best. The intro for the Bumblebee movie on Cybertron was fantastic.
I’d say Jolt is underrated, but with how much he was on screen and such, I just can’t. When it came to Drift I instantly started thinking about Crosshairs, I really want like a third party or just a definitive figure of him. Also want a studio series Dino but I think everyone does.
Jazz was was probably most favorite. His designs closely resembles his G1 counter part and if they added Jazz his G1 color scheme it would look damn good Haha
My personal favourite has gotta be wheeljack Although most people don’t really see him as good looking or old that makes him even more lethal to bad guys It was sad to see I’m get exixuted in transformers the dark side of the moon but he is still a good character
I think that jolt is actually the best design. BUT you gotta agree he needs his own movie, origin story, and/or more screen action. Also as u asked us, here's my top ten: 10, leadfoot, 9, volleybot, 8 sentinel prime, 7, AOE drift, 6, AOE, Optimus Prime, 5, last knight hot rod, 4, jolt, 3, jazz, 2, hound, 1, AOE bumblebee
Megatron was a triple changer too, in TF2 he was a cybertronian jet at the beginning then mid way he was a tank and at the end he retreated as a jet again.
I couldn't agree more. The only one i might add is Ironhide and maybe Sentinel Prime. I just like their weapons and how ironhide looks stocky but like he could kick some butt anytime
For me the best movie design is Shockwave in Dark side of the moon. His look is just nailed. He looks badass, evil, menacing, has the signature 1 eye, huge ass cannon arm...it's just awesome! Too bad they wasted the character....but he looked the part!
My top 3 gotta be Dropkick, Ironhide, and Jazz in that order. Jazz and Ironhide in my mind some of the best redesigns without their G1 colors. Dropkick is a sadistic kill happy brawler which is something I think should be the key elements for a decepticon
Sideswipe,bumblebee,shockwave and BBM prime will always be my fav design,even though BBM prime didn’t get to be in it,still,I respect ur thoughts and opinions.

I agree with your statement because with the right look it can create a much better appeal to the character itself and I think Megatrons evolution of design throughout the series was well done.
I love the design of Crosshairs and Shockwave, Crosshairs is sleek and I love the ideo of that "trench coat", while Shockwave is just terrifying, with his big red eye, the canon and emotionless voice, amazing design
Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime is the best design of all. Blackout from the first movie is awesome. Bayverse Shockwave is a great design, but the BB movie version is a thing of beauty. Blitzwing/not Starscream is also one of the best designs overall.
I don't know much about the live-action Transformers so I kind of like these types of videos that inform me about the live-action Transformers Universe Andre boots

I personally didn't really like that version of Megatorn however the Last knight version is my favorite of all time

Thats true because they were kinda unique but some looked smoother/more like an auto bot than others and same goes with deceptions

Blackout is my favorite. The most destructive and efficient Decepticon, he was also our introduction to this species. Humanoid in form, but definitely alien. He should have been Soundwave, the henchmen who actually gets things done.
TraynArt i think everything is said about shockwave works better for blackout, he’s bigger (depending on who you ask) and his weapons are a lot more powerful than both megaton and shockwave

I think the bumblebee movie had the best designs, G1 inspired, bulky, but still having that Michael Bay, moving parts, shifting, aesthetic.

For some of my favorite designs I gotta go with the dinobots. I’ve always loved the concept of dinosaur robots and these versions were an instant hit. They combined two different time periods into one group of seemingly unstoppable fire breathing robo dinos. Their robot modes look like medieval armor and their dinosaur modes emphasized their deadly nature.
Strafes two heads. Scorns tail whip for an arm. As well as his three sails instead of two. These dinobots were an excellent way to bring the film to a climactic close. Because where they lacked in numbers they made up for in absolute raw dinosaur might.

Another fun fact about Mirage: The arm blades are there because Ferrari specifically asked that Dino not use guns.
All this effort for one character, change his name, change his accent, no guns. If I was Michael Bay I would’ve just not used a Ferrari but at least Dino/ Mirage turned out cool 😂
Not enough love for Shockie out there, so you earned my respect and subscription. I prefer Shockwave from G1, but I do find Shockwave from the film rather cute with his mandibles... it actually makes him have a sense of connection to his Driller pet. I could imagine him raising a Driller as a tiny pup and using those mandibles as a form of bonding mechanism. The Driller views Shockwave as a mother. It is only logical.
Even with that said, my all time favorite design from the Bayformers films would have to be Grimlock. Both his robot mode and alt mode were really well put together and done right for the forth film. Seeing him on the big screen brought back childhood memories how I obsessed over dinosaurs. It was magic to me.

I like movie Shockwaves face, it's like a demonic version of Gray Fox's helmet from Metal Gear, primes knight form is like an updated G2 hero prime, sideswipe look was summed up perfectly by thew as *Neo Sideswipe X* and as for Crosshairs, dudes like a green hotshot
Shockwave tho extremely different from his g1 counter part is one of my fav bayformer designs..yeah shockwave is a logical scientist in g1 but in the bayverse shockwave is a brute which his design reflects that
Sentinel Prime actually has a pretty decent design. It's not over the top and comes off to be mostly clean. They basically made Leonard Nimoy into a Autobot double agent. Although, Shatter might just be my favorite alongside Optimus (2018).

I for one liked all the dinobots cool knight like designs. My favorite has to be bonecrusher. His Feet wheels are creative and cool. His face design is very scary and intimidating. Also his shovel is a cool weapon and accessory like third arm

I absolutely love, Crosshair’s, design. From the first time I saw him in the film I was in love with that opened trench coat, outlaw look. It reminds me of, Vash the Stampede... Trigun.

The trilogy Optimus looks pretty dope. I was a fan of that design for the longest especially TF3 when he gets more armor pieces. But I just love AOE Optimus more.

I gotta say i love all of the bots designs from the first movie but the one i like the most is bonecrusher. Michel bay took just a bland combiner part with no character and made him unique with a different alt mode from g1, a third arm/claw and made him awesome as hell.

I loved the character design of Dino/Mirage and Sideswipe! Mirage was my favorite in the Dark of the Moon video game I loved the way he transforms and his arm blades were my choice of weapon as his melee attack was just awesome to witness. Sideswipe I loved because his design was just cool as he transforms and his doors looked like wings on his back. His swords were retractable and just cool to look at and the way he just zooms around on his two wheels just makes his combat style probably the most unique in all of the films. If was just a shame he didnt have more screen time
My favourite robot design from the Michael bay movies has to be jazz from TF1. His design evokes the character pretty well even the way he transforms evokes a lot of the G1 character

Although I didn't like the movie, I have to admit that my favorite design is TLK Optimus Prime. I think it's cool that they went for a new original design instead of trying to recreate his G1 design like in the previous movies (which in my opinion, didn't look very good), and I just liked his whole knight aesthetic. Other designs I thought were good are Reboot Bumblebee and Soundwave, because they are G1 accurate but at the same time they fit in with the modern designs (this concept could easily be applied to almost every character in the movie, but I chose them because they're the coolest in my opinion)

Thank you! Thank you for defending Galvatron, everybody says he’s ugly and a bad choice, but he was just on target. He looked futuristic, op and menacing, plus the color palette really helped him to outstand from the rest of the villains in the franchise
my favourite designs are definitely megatron from the last knight and optimus from the last knight, something about their sleek and knightly designs, along with megatron’s fusion cannon and armoured design with his cool battle mask just gets to me.
Yeah those knightly looks are so awesome. It was tough picking between TLK Megatron & Galvatron.
Interesting fact; The Cybertronian society/culture does have their own version of Bushido... it's called Metallikato, and it's famous practitioner of this archaic form of fighting of all time is Bludgeon. I always thought, upon first seeing the designs online, was that Drift in the Bayformers was going to be Bludgeon till I actually saw the film and got disappointed that he wasn't. Maybe the back story is that Drift was once Bludgeon himself or a student/follower of Bludgeon and changed sides. Would be awesome to see that being made into a movie. I could go on, especially the UK version of the comics that go into details about Bludgeon, but I'll take my TF comic book fan-ass elsewhere. ^_^ He is my second favorite TF char.

My favorite has to be Soundwave.Sure he did look like a smaller version of Megatron but me being a personal fan of the Mercedez AMG won me over.Also his tentacles showed how he could torture you in many different ways, a small design choice that was somewhat was taken over on Transformers Prime Soundwave.

Primes look 1-3 is just so much more intimidating in battle in my eyes. He got weaker in the later films. With no ion blasters, I just can’t get into the new look.

I think my favorite designs would be...
Optimus’ Knight armor from AOE and TLK: It’s different from the standard Optimus design, but it still carries a similar Optimus vibe. It’s different, but at the same time, you can tell it’s supposed to be Optimus Prime. And the Knight design looks so much more clean than before, less jagged parts and a more smooth body design. Not only makes him look like a strong and honorable warrior, but also a a recognizable one.
The second would be Bumblebee’s look in the Bumblebee film: Not only for the G1 design, but also how short he is (fitting for the youngest scout of the group), and the lack of door wings, I was a little sick of the door “bee wings” on the character. And I like how he was a small compact car and a Jeep in the film, which I find more fitting than a muscle car; not that I hate the muscle car modes, but I feel like a smaller vehicle would be more fitting for someone like Bumblebee.
Yeah Knight Optimus looks so dope. Reboot Bee is pretty good too. Takes what made the Bay Bee great and merges it with G1 Bee.
Knight Optimus is like a modern version of the G2 Hero optimus

1:37 Jolt: Despite his very little screentime. I like his design from the ROTF toyline. It says it all.
1:48 Shockwave: I really dig his character. He has that gladiator look to him with the blade on his left arm and his famous atm cannon in the other. From the eye and mouth is cool. I just wish he haf more screentime and more of the purple color we all know.
4:15 Bumblebee: I prefer his high octane verison from AOE. Where he's mostly black then yellow.
5:55 Shatter and Dropkick: Original robots with an original design. They look badass and as mean as the Decepticons.
7:33 Galvatron: So metallic, unlike his toys. He really does look good. I still wish he had the purple color scheme like his G1 self. But he still remains a awesome character design.

My number one is demolisher/ scavenger mostly because when I saw trotf I instantly fell in love with the amount of destruction and the sleek design using massive wheels to move around.

Barricade is my favorite design. The first Bayverse movie came out on my birthday that year... I loved Barricade as soon as I saw him. Yeah, I was also terrified by him, but it was awesome to see a police car transformer on the big screen.
Barricade is so iconic as a police car now, the Micromaster he's named after needed to get renamed.
Crosshair is so good that he steals transformers priceless fing from them and make fun of them

I know the Bay era designs are really controversial for being such radical departures for what fans were used to from Transformers, but I’m glad they exist. They opened fans up to more outlandish designs and have some really cool takes on the characters.

10. Drift- the samurai motif makes no sense, but it makes him look cool and hes got some wicked swords.
9. Laserbeak- kinda a weird pick, but I like his jagged wings and how it looks like the designers took inspiration from vultures.
8. Ratchet- His solor scheme is unique, the beard makes no sense but it makes him stand out, and he always had a presence because of it.
7. Sideswipe- wheels. The mans got wheels and swords. That is all
6. Soundwave ROTF- Despite having little screen time and not having the classic voice, I still think hes a decent representation, with a unique alternate form. You don't see many transformers that turn into satellites.
5. Megatron ROTF- With 5 megatron designs, ROTF to me encapsulates the character, with a cybetronian,
jagged look, a great alternate mode that both flies and runs, and a wicked arm canon that is a good riff on G1 megaton's arm canon.
4. Ironhide- Lots of ironhide's personality shines through thanks to his design. Big, bulky, and with tons of guns, you GET it.
3. Og Optimus Prime- While I like the new knight aesthetic, I prefer the more realistic look of the original, it really feels like a truck turned robot, and it's the closest design to G1 before Bumblebee.
2. Bumblebee- Theres a reason I have bought 3 versions of this character. It's so simple yet stands out amongst his comrades. Can't go wrong
1. Shockwave- Looks sick, is a great take on the classic designs looking menacing, unique, and badass. In other words, it embodies shockwave.

I'm a massive fan of the 2007 Barricade. He's one of the decepticons that stood out the most to me and I loved his design

My favorite design out of all of them would be Grindor. I can't really explain why, but his design just clicked for me. I love how his helicopter blades sit on his back. 2nd place goes to Drift. I love his samurai inspired style, and I find it awesome that he can both turn into a car and a helicopter. For 3rd, I'd pick Barricade, because he looks intimidating and awesome.
Never knew of these designs and every time you show new designs from the films I go: "wow"

One thing I agree with Micheal Bey was some g1 designs where recolors and just a different head mold. Jazz (even though Jazz and Bumblebee should have switched sizes), Ironhide, Blackout, Ratchet, Lockdown, Drift, and R.O.T.F/ T.L.K Megatron.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you doing these videos dude. Most of TF fandom just celebrates G1 (which I love too), but I grew up with the Bayverse and it’s always cool to see it get love. 90% of my Bayverse love comes from the designs alone, which makes this video perfect for me.

I have been a fan of Transformers since GH1 but regarding the live action movies, I like Bumblebee the best.
The intro for the Bumblebee movie on Cybertron was fantastic.
I’d say Jolt is underrated, but with how much he was on screen and such, I just can’t. When it came to Drift I instantly started thinking about Crosshairs, I really want like a third party or just a definitive figure of him. Also want a studio series Dino but I think everyone does.
Personally I would have Jazz, Ironhide, and Blackout likely on my list, maybe even Bonecrusher, but that's just me. I am glad Crosshairs made the list
Jazz was was probably most favorite. His designs closely resembles his G1 counter part and if they added Jazz his G1 color scheme it would look damn good Haha

Megatron was a triple changer too, in TF2 he was a cybertronian jet at the beginning then mid way he was a tank and at the end he retreated as a jet again.

For me the best movie design is Shockwave in Dark side of the moon. His look is just nailed. He looks badass, evil, menacing, has the signature 1 eye, huge ass cannon arm...it's just awesome! Too bad they wasted the character....but he looked the part!
My top 3 gotta be Dropkick, Ironhide, and Jazz in that order. Jazz and Ironhide in my mind some of the best redesigns without their G1 colors. Dropkick is a sadistic kill happy brawler which is something I think should be the key elements for a decepticon

I agree with your statement because with the right look it can create a much better appeal to the character itself and I think Megatrons evolution of design throughout the series was well done.
I love the design of Crosshairs and Shockwave, Crosshairs is sleek and I love the ideo of that "trench coat", while Shockwave is just terrifying, with his big red eye, the canon and emotionless voice, amazing design

Blackout from the first movie is awesome.
Bayverse Shockwave is a great design, but the BB movie version is a thing of beauty.
Blitzwing/not Starscream is also one of the best designs overall.
