Now, to those who (currently) hold the rights to the episodes of this great series, in which I watched when I was 13 years old, put it out on DVD (in separate DVD collections for each season), or at least LET GSN air it!!!
I doubt you will have “Dance Fever” on DVD’s. One: I don’t know if episodes are wiped (erased). Two: Even if episodes still exist, you have to pay royalties to the music played on that show.

Wow ... after the first 1:15 minutes, this has to be THE BEST 10 mins of video that captures the essence of the show ... a semi-finals episode representing what 1970's Dance Fever was all about! Well-deserved credit goes to host Deney Terrio, Motion and Dr. D, the song Boogie Motion playing in the background, and the celebrity judges including a world-class basketball legend, a Happy Days TV star, and a true comedic talent. Followed by a commercial break with the announcer highlighting the typical sponsors of the time. Then 4 great competing teams with 90 seconds each to show their stuff ... High Point, NC sharing their great synchronized moves; New Orleans, LA showing how it's done with Southern class; Ft. Wayne, IN displaying incredible fast-stepping dynamics; and a stand-out pair from Miami, FL including a top female karate expert dancing to MJ ... these folks all had the moves!! Where are these people now? Hopefully in a good place ... THANK YOU for the great memories!! Keep danc'n

7:01 may be the only place to find Bryan Adams’ “Let Me Take You Dancing” anywhere on TH-cam since he has made sure it is taken down by Web Sheriff wherever it appears. Recorded when he was in his late teens, Adams hated this remix, which raised the pitch of his voice. Shame because it is really a great track.
Yes, it was done without his consent. But anyway, I think it's still on because the song is partial, in mono, and kind of drowned in audience noise...If it was more than a clip and was crystal clear, it'd be gone.
