It is possible hua hin and far south Thailand in suton,and Trang Thailand is dirt cheap with apartments starting at $250 usd a month.And street and local food in these areas are also cheap too as well.Plus you won’t be dealing with over crowded of tourism because once u go far south in Thailand there is nothing in English and there is no international nor western food that’s why most foreigners haven’t been further south in Thailand 🇹🇭 😊.
yep 500 -600 euro is a pretty standard single budget if u can adapt to Thailand and stay single (happy dramafree life) I work in Bangkok and eat for under 250baht a day incl ice-coffee and smoothies and misses nothing in life . strange that there are no comments from 2 weeks millionaires that have spend 2 weeks in Phuket or Pattaya coming and saying its "impossible" and they are "experts" ..haha=)

Renting in a new built condo building .. in my neighbor hood is mainly lower middeclass and its still very cheap here , but as all thailand prices are going up slowly ..but a lunch still cost 50-60 baht and dinner cost 70-80 baht and i shop in local markets =)

I have done almost a year on a 10.000 baht per month! That is living the Thai way! Self sufficient Of course no restaurant and bar! But it is so refreshing, and then after that, you really appreciate everything once you have more money😁

Believe me after that experience, you enjoy the AC, the swimming pool, clean pillows the flushing toilets.... I also stayed 15 days in the mountains of Chiang Mai, with only a gallon of water, and a big bag of rice! Every day we would pick up pousse from the mountain and make soup! After not eating any fish or meat for 15 days, you feel fabulous

I done it on a Shoestring as a 20 something. I moved here permenant in 2007. I certainly have no ambitions to deny myself in my 60s as a father of 2 and a successful retiree of everything I desire. You must have led a very different life to me. Good luck.
