Loving this, watching your older video's as I don't have to wait a week for the next episode. Going to watch it now. 👍 I'm sitting on my arse watching you build your project.
Thanks for watching Mike! I’m always happy to hear that the videos motivate people. That alone makes the channel worth it. Small details really add up to making something look well built or thrown together!
This era was before you had your butler Rubert. Haha!! I absolutely love how much you've evolved your channel!! It's weird not hearing "Flap Attack", "Slice N Dice", Ect...
Looks really good. I think the brake booster on my '06 Ram 1500 sticks out that far, at least it seems like it does whenever I change my spark plugs. Swapping engines is the only way to go on an IHC. My cousin had his 1956 IHC S120 4x4 restored from the ground up, money was no object, but even he winced when he found out the cost of having pistons custom made in California. I think you'll have you're Travelall on the road for less than he paid just for 6 pistons.
@@PuddinsFabShop I believe it was $4,000USD, I messaged him to get the exact price. You can see the restoration on this page if go back a few years. The 1956 Chevy belonged to my father inlaw and now belongs to my brother inlaw. facebook.com/EtekRestorations/
@@gustoffur IMHO, IHC pistons from 1956 should be "readily" available. Not that I've ordered any lately, but I don't think that they need to be custom made. Maybe he needed something especial.
What was your reasoning to go with that specific booster/master combo, aside from selecting a disc/disc master (which I assume means you’ll be doing a disc break setup on the rear)? BTW, I own a scout and have had a few IHs before. I’m digging your build, have watched all the videos, and love the format and length of what you produce. Great work and keep ‘em coming! Also, I do plenty of sitting on my ass, so thanks for the motivation!
I will be doing a disc brake rear. I went with this for dual diaphragm, 8” for clearance of the column, and i did not want to go hydroboost. So that narrows it down to this for clearance with the most stopping power. Thank you for following the build ! He sitting on that thing has to happen, just don’t over do it !👍🏻
Couldn't you just build an adapter plate to where it bolts to the firewall And make it thicker and that'll make up the distance..? It will stick out of the firewall further but you can lengthen the studs/bolts... then you don't have to modify the firewall by cutting and etc...? 😇
Binge watching while its 106 deg outside (111 deg in carport and 127deg in the shop). In this case, sitting on my ass WILL get my learnin done... and not have heat stroke. Project is going to have to wait a couple days.
Nothing like a little old school puddin to get you through the day

This family hauler is going to be so sick!!!
Thanks man!
I like it, I'm going back to the beginning and you have grown so much in front of a camera. God bless
You’ve given me some motivation to get going on my project, I like the way you’re going on your truck, very focused on the details!

How much did he pay for 6 pistons 😳

Well I can safely say by the end of this build I’ll blow that number away, but for 6 pistons damn!

HaveyTomHavey we looked, believe me. You might be able to find a NOS set, but I doubt it.
Looking good, loving these back to back videos.
I’m trying!
Great work as usual, all the best for the channel
Big Beefy stopping power!!! i love it
It should be!
If that International was built in 2020 that is the way it would look , really looks stock , nice job !
That’s what I like to hear! Because under the hood that’s how I want it to look!
Great job and it looks good. It don't look out of place. Another great video 👍👍
Thanks Shane!
wow! you've come a long way. awesome
Looks like a real good thought out plan what suspension is that look like the mustang ll set up but l can’t tell
Great vids always look forward to a new one
There’s three more sense then.
Looks great, may stick out far but doesn't look bad or like it would be in the way.
It does look like you’ll be ble to work round that brake booster. I thought the coils would be blocked.
Simplicity is always the best option.
nice job on the bracket.
Looks like a fun build
Another fine job keep them coming
Thank ya, thank ya!
Nicely done man
Nice modification
Good planning and work👍👉🇺🇸👈
I've seen some low profile electric brake booster kits, but that kinda sounds expensive.
You’re an inspiration
Nice work!
Thanks Steven!
Have you ever done hydroboost brakes? That might have gotten you more clearance for the steering.
I did not want to do hydro boost. It would of yielded more room though
looks nice
Thank you!
Looking good!
I appreciate it!
Does the firewall flex when you push the brake pedal?
No. The inside assembly sandwiches the firewall in between it and the outside plate. No flex.
Nice work it looks very clean.
Thank you!
Looking good
Another steller job!
Thank you!
Good video.
👊🏻👊🏻
looks good....that ought to stop ya! you doing disc in the back also?
Yes sir. Plans as of now
Great idea
It’s not as bad as I thought it would be
nice work
Great

Cool
Thanks talker!
Another comment in 2024 for Mr. Puddin.
Isn't is nice when something goes as planned? I think it is going to give you plenty of stopping power.
That happens every now and then!
👍👊

watching ednas buid
You need some tattoos. That would be cool.
Looks like it came that way

She's going down the road soon.
Looks good to me,but it ain’t mine.
