Brian you and your son have helped more people than you could ever imagine through some tuff times. I honestly couldn’t watch your channel for a few months after I lost my dad last year. Watching the bond between you and your son would remind me of memories I shared with my father. Was part of my grieving process. Fortunately, I had the tools, and a wonderful trucker lent me some others that I needed and didn't have. What we both didn't have, I walked to Advance from the truck stop off the interstate.
Back to the point, I probably could've popped in and you would've helped me, and that's why I come back to this channel. Same with Zach (MNmillennial)and Larson farms. We need more humble in this world. I appreciate you folks. Keep on keepin on 🤘

Brian. You and Cole and your entire family absolutely make my day better thru watching your videos. Finding your channel was the culmination of a few events in my life. First of them was loving farm life. I was born and raised in Long Beach Ca. I lost my father to cancer in 1967 when I was 10 years old.
Two summers later my mother boarded a train with myself and three younger brother to visit her brother and sisters and their kids, in and around Eddyville
in central Nebraska. They raised cattle, grew corn, alfalfa and sugar beets. I loved the experience so much that I went back the following summer by myself. The kid from Long Beach was pretty capable at setting tubes to irrigate .
And then a blessed life has happened and before you know it 50 years have passed and you retire from the construction industry in the Los Angeles Area and move with your wife of nearly forty years to Big Bear Ca a small mountain community 100 miles east of L.A. (think much fewer people🙂).
Then the pandemic hits and you and your wife self isolate to try to protect yourselves from the unknown. Then on Labor Day 2020 you receive a phone call that your cousin in Nebraska has tragically passed in a single car accident while out checking Irrigation pivots late one night.
In the days and weeks that followed feeling deeply saddened and isolated and reminiscing while searching for more information on the internet I stumbled on to a you tube channel about farming and ranching in South Dakota. And then I remembered all the stories my young at the time cousins told me about partying in Yankton SD. So I said to myself, Self, lets check this channel out. And as they say the rest is history. I can only imagine the look on your face when Cole says hey Dad I'm going to start a TH-cam channel about our farm (think eye roll). Who'd a thunk it. No BS Brian and Cole and family you folks with your ability to share your lives and tell stories with wit, humor, hard work and love of family and faith, mid west values is a bright spot in thousands of peoples lives. It's real. Plus we get the song of the day to hum to ourselves as a bonus. Its like a twofer. 🙂 All the best, Fran

One of the first jobs I had on my grandpa's farm was packing silage. In western Colorado in the 50-60s we used long pits cut into the ground, 1- feet wide at most, 8 feet deep and about 100 feet long. The trucks just drove through the pit and spread the corn, so we did not have to move too much of it. Pulling a truck out of the pit was a common part of the job. Sometimes we just hooked up and pulled all the way through.

Sad to see so many of us still being impacted by the horrible levels of drought. Hope that in the end, the silage pit does well and keeps all your cattle fat and happy. Our cattle are all dealing with the horrible fire smoke that is causing some issues with them AND we humans too. Gag!! I'm grateful for your hard work that goes into making all these videos too. Funny story. Back in the mid 60’s when we put the duals on the tractors
Dad would go down the road from one farm to another. Dad would run over 4 mail boxes every year. “Oh I forgot that the duals were on”. That is all I have to say about that. God rest his soul. 🤗🙏

Great song of the day, Brian. Have not seen any farmers around here doing ther fields yet. We had a ton of rain here this last weekend. Had to empty my rain gage twice. We had about 8 inches. We were so dry around here , it soaked right in. Thanks for the great videos. You and cole make my day. God bless.

Brian and Cole I started watching your videos in December of 2017 when I was in the hospital as TV was getting boring and You Tube videos were better and at times I was watching 14-16 hours daily cuz what else do you do in the hospital when you're laid up after surgery. But my views are all farming videos, I watch your channel 1st then I watch Farm fixing and fabrication and Andy has a dairy but stays away from showing videos inside the dairy cuz of negative comments but he has 2 sons 3 daughters and I have never seen kids work like his as young as they are his two daughters and younger son around 12 and how he and his daughters do a heck of a job welding I like his channel cuz it reminds me on how I brought my son and daughter up and included them in the chores cuz I bought bottle calves and the kids could buy there 1st car and pay cash for it by saving there money from chores..When my grandkids come over I always show them Sonne farm videos of the cows calving so Brian and Cole keep the videos coming so I can keep the grandkids calmed down as I have 2 that are 1 and 2 that will be 3 at Christmas. Plus I like your channel as you are all green machinery which is what my GPA brought me up on. I can remember my GPA chopping stalks with a 2 row stalkchopper and a 4020 gas and back in the 70s they had 4400 combine with 3 row corn head

Brian, I agree with what that fellow at the fair said about your videos. You touch many people with your content. I watch quite a few channels, and most of them are of farmers and ranchers, all of them family operations. We get emotionally involved with what you do, and we appreciate you letting us into your lives. We see the closeness of families working together to put food on our tables, and are affected by the ups and downs you deal with concerning weather, damaged equipment and other factors related to your industry. I realize our involvement does not solve your problems and we certainly do not suffer the consequences of your losses. But rest assured, we are there for you in spirit and with our prayers. God bless you and all the other farmers in our great country.

I love you videos and how these videos mean so much to us. On a different note I’m from central California we grow a lot of almonds and there are a lot of dairy farms around us. All the corn we grow is for silage it’s very interesting to me the differences there are from state to state and how they do things. Love the videos and keep them coming!

Me and my dad got a flat tire on the loaded trailer just south of the ridge at Trinidad, Co. we drop trailer on side road, and went up to town. We decided to get a motel room, and Told the desk man 1 night. He said you mean 4? Wink ? Puzzled ? we look at each other and looked, and say no 1 night. He syas arent you here for a op-peration? I, Puzzled said, No? Just a flat tire. The desk man, looked scared and confused, so just 1 night? Yes? .... Thank You to the 3 fingered, Mr. Jolly for spares and helping us out of Trinidad...we bolted the "spare" on ourselves...
