I've gone with this 530d mSport plus xDrive the perfect all rounder for me :) ( used just under 3 years old for about half price and with BMW warranty and only 28k on the clock)

I am also searching daily and aside colour, the only requirements I have are Harman Kardon speakers and folding rear seats (for those B&Q trips). Are you happy with your 530D and do you have any advice or recommendations? Ps. I have had a 520D for the last 10 years which I bought brand new.
@@23solad hi there I don't have the Harmon Kardons but if you tweak the standard stereo it's not too bad. It has folding rear seats as standard on the '18 mSport, I live the fact it's got the silky 3.0 and 4wd which can either do 0-60 in 5.4 or 52 odd to the gallon on a long mixed journey . I added a Witter tow bar which looks ok and gives me bike rack and trailer capabilities also , mines white with rather striking black 19s wheels. It's just that combo of 530d and xDrive that you don't see a lot of that I like also.best of luck.
I really hate the sound of diesel engines, but they are so efficient (in terms of fuel consumption, especially those from BMW), that make them far more convenient.

And 6 cyl petrol engines sound better than 4 cyl petrol ones... This BMW engine (530d) is a 6 cyl diesel one, therefore it sounds better than, arguably, most 4 cyl petrol ones. But I doubt it will sound better (or even the same) than any 6 cyl petrol one.

Any car guy cares how a car sounds. I have a 2020 G30 530d Msport. Sounds fair for an oil burner but it’s no B58!!! Sounds like a typical diesel, rattly and rough.
530d = 6 cylinder diesel 330i = 4 cylinder gasoline My choice would be the 530d as it has the 6 cylinders and the least amount of turbocharging. That means that the motor block has to withstand lower forces and will therefor last longer.
I think you are alone with that opinion. Almost everyone says the G30 looks sharper and more aggressive than the F10. Which is also a good car but the follower just looks a little bit better. Get a job, save money and buy a G30. Stop hating and being jalouse😉
