I've been to these guys and didnt even interact and left quickly. It was immediately obvious that they tart up low spec cars with really cheap and nasty ebay parts & wheels which will crack or bend as soon as they look at a pothole and stick crappy budget tyres on which isn't exactly safe! To top it off, they ask a premium. My suggestion is to do it all yourself 'properly' with quality parts, wheels & tyres....

WELL SAID. Complete Transformation = ebay wheels and M Perf kit. The replica alloys are terrible compared to bmw original.
Nail on head. Tarted up cars with a bit of cheap bling and then offered for sale at a silly mark up. They’ll fool some people but the more astute will see straight through their MO.

Did he have to screw the rear diffuser back on behind the reflectors because he broke the clips when he just pulled the old diffuser off?
Coilovers and a truck lip would be the cream on the cake. Very nice build.
Great transformation well thought through. The new alloys expose the callipers more so surprised you didn’t paint them while wheels were off?
Nicely done. This is oryginally a g30 luxuryline before the FL. Can you show any g30 luxuryline after the Face Lift tuned in this way? Are there any maxton party for the g30 luxury after the FL or maybe the same parts fit for both wersions before and after the FL? I have a g30 530i xdrive black luxury line with a Shadow pack this is why i am asking. Thanks for the info.

That rear diffuser looks like a cheap piece of crap off of eBay. That is not OEM. You do not install an OEM diffuser by screwing it in with a drill!
He had to drill it as he broke the clips when he RIPPED the original one off.
I’m not sure how they think it’s a good idea showing some plank shoving 2” screws in to the back bumper! Utter idiocy and the £70 Practicalmax ditchfinders just show the the level of investment in the aftermarket tat. Avoid at all costs, if you want to customise your 5 series, do it yourself with quality parts fitted by a reputable body shop.

Yes another company in Nottingham called YNC (your next car) do the same with their bmw stock.. brand new replica bmw alloys with pi55 poor brand new ditch finder tyres all round!

@@theophilusone7 watcha talkin bout fool?! tyres are the one component that have contact with the ground so it’s imperative that they are of good reliable quality! It’s just something one cannot skimp on dawg!
@@kamranhussain578 there new, not old. I drive R 305 all the way around on my 750li. The R 275 I have on my N52 do just fine. Tires don't last n if they do your not driving!
This dealership is too funny😂, the way they show the photos on autotrader they don’t even show specific parts of the car because they know it’s shit
I bought a g30 almost 2 years ago from this company. They put low quality alloys on it and was looking stunning until I hit a pot hole which cracked on the spot. That was a month after the purchased ending up I spent 1K more to replace all 4 with originals. I called the company sadly they were not really helpful.
Yeh they use cheap replica alloys , I was considering buying from them buy just keeps seeing too many horror reviews. Will buy elsewhere and just buy the quality parts and fit them myself or get them fitted.

I have the exact same car as the 'before' version (same color, same rims, ..everything). I want to change to a black grill and put on a front splitter too. But I'm keeping the rims.
Black grill is an easy and cheap update. I did mine and it looks great. Will also put a carbon fibre front splitter soon too.
I would have stuck with just the black fill. 20inch wheels are just money pits for tyres.

How much do the body kit parts cost to add?
Sorry but as a g30 msport owner I have to say that I prefer the standard trim and stock wheels. The only thing I would do maybe is replace the chrome kidney grills with high quality gloss black ones. 🤔

Out of curiosity, who manufacturers the skirts and grill accessories?
+ for modding in general if OEM+. - for modding cheap looking parts with no OEM wheels, cheap tires, no cleaning or mesuring. Use screws instead so one can convert back to stock. This is rediculous!

Had my 530e for a year now from S James. 30k and rear tyres need changing, fronts still a way to go. No issues with grip in all weather conditions. Car looks great and accessories still firmly in place. 👍Alloys have not bent with pothole hits but lacquer has started to show wear. This seems to be the case with all modern alloys so can't complain. Mechanically, car has been faultless to date. Good job. 👍
Aftermarket rims dont seem to hold up in winter weather.
@@leonk8113 have had this issue with oem wheels on a golf too. Tyres were wrong size on my 530e, too stretched. Only found out when changing was a bulge on inside edges of both rears. Have upgraded to Kumho all round with bigger side wall. Improved ride quality, grip & looks better with the slightly higher ride height on these models
Good video! I'm surprised how much negativity people are on comments below. When doing something like what you do - you will always get people that are jealous / dreamers. I would definitely bring my 5 series msport xdrive BMW to your workshop to put some addons. I look forward to your next video - thumbs up to the camera man 👍🏽

You changed the wheels, put on a side skirt, and added a few bits of black! Looked ok before you touched it and how much did it actually cost? More important, did it really increase the value of the car?

what this company does is buy more standard cars and sell them with kits to clients, that way clients always come to them as they know they get a kitted car, its not so much to increase value its to target that market
Modifications pretty much never add value. If anything they detract it when you try to sell it

@@hc5253 people should never be in a rush to replace oe parts. I’ve learnt this the hard way, if you use good quality replacements what they call oe+ then all good. However using cheap Chinese originated products is utter folly. If you want to upgrade use genuine or equivalent, European manufactured items. Most Chinese stuff is low quality ‘mug’s eyeful’ gear. As in it looks good but is usually style over substance.

Great tranformation but one tip I will give you , never do a customers vehicle with yhe operator wearing jewellery, easy to scratch the vehicle in yje process, this was our first process before we started sorting yhe vehicle out
Hi - will upgrading to 20'' wheels increase/decrease the stability at high speed ? I have exact same 530D with same stock alloys and wheels but they hit almost all mid sized bumps...:(
Yes bigger alloys on this car will make it way more bumpy and not as stable, you'll feel more of the firm ride. 20 aren't the best ride unless your car has the adaptive dampers option (button hear the gear knob)
Ride will be worse, and definitely dont go for replica alloys, they are trash. Just do 10&12mm spacers that will make a big difference
I have the 20" alloys and ride is still smooth. No noticeable stability issues at speed and plenty of traction off the line. Stock non m-sport suspension as mine is the 530e. I believe the suspension change was due to the extra weight of the electric motor and small battery pack. Fitting the correct tyres makes a big difference to ride quality and grip.
Way to ruin a car with cheap parts and budget tyres. Great 👍 👌. It would have been better if you just painted the alloys black and black front grill and that's it, that would look so much better

Good grief my heart nearly stopped watching you put that cone on a painted wheel with no cloth to stop it scratching. And gunning wheel nuts in? One mistake you're gunning a cross thread and replacing the hub. Ffs start the bolts/nuts with your fingers then torque them up.

Stock parts/variants always have higher resale value. If you want to save money just buy aftermarket parts on an entry level spec
