Wow good job! I'll try doing this in spring. Can i ask what kind of rod, reel and bait you used? Beginner here, just moved to Bendigo from Melbourne :)
Hi Alexis, the rod was just a cheap one from k-mart that cost about 20 dollars, the reel was a shimano sienna 2500 from anaconda which cost about 50 dollars, and I was using 10 pound mono line. For bait I was using canned corn kernels on a small hook, and my friend was using small pieces of bread. Good luck when you try in spring!

Thanks mate! Yeah it's certainly great fun mate, and even better when someone takes the mess away for you haha. Someone told me about the catfish this morning actually, that's unreal! What do you catch them on?

If you ever see a teen with a homemade bike trailer built with fishing rod holders its me. Ive been going to lake weeroona the past 2 weekends only coughts two carp and a couple of 4 leged friends
Ah ok cool! I wish I could make my own stuff like that, that's awesome! If you see me there fishing come and say g'day!
what rig do you use for them
I use a very basic running sinker rig, with the sinker running free right down to the hook. My mate damo was fishing unweighted, so only a hook tied on with no sinker
@@RKJFishing thanks cant get more simple than that
Crazy to think how many dirty carp are in there
Yeah I iknow right! Lots of fun though lol
Hey mate that bloke Damien your fishing with is actually my brother tell him I say hello next you see him yh
Oh ok cool I didn't know, that's awesome! Will do!
You don't need to cast it out very far to get the big one cool vid
Thanks Lachie! Yeah it surprised me how big those ones up close were. I started with my bait way out in the middle but quickly found out they were all right near us at the edge haha
Haha funny but I think we fished in the same spot
haha that is funny!
I hope Damo picked his smoke up. 2.42
Haha well spotted! He actually did pick it up after I threw the fish back, I have a pouch on my fishing bag specially designated for small rubbish like fishing line or wrappers, his ciggy butts ended up in there
yea there are so many carp around lastweekend 2 of us caught 60 he he
Unreal! Well done mate
Did you have the" crap?" He, he!
LOL nah I wanted until I got home Phillip hahaha
Sorry there's not enough toilet paper hahahaha
what rig was it
Both of my rods were using a running sinker rig, Damo was using a paternoster rig
@@RKJFishing both of you were on fire in uk they are gold in Asia they are prize food in eastern europe they are a Christmas delicacy and in Australia they are a pest but the best to catch
It's amazing how they get treated differently all over the world isn't it? You're not wrong about them being fun to catch though!
Baby ball cheese is good for carp fish
Thanks for the tip mate!
Feeding the seagulls mate
haha yep! A few seagulls and other birds came over and had a peck at the pile a few times LOL
They should electro fish that lake!
They probably should Kelvin but at the same time there isn't much else in there so they don't have a huge impact. In the meantime I'll keep fishing some out haha
Theres no minows at Lake weeroona
There's some in there mate I've seen them with my polarized sunnies on hehe. Not sure what they are though, probably just baby carp lol
The 7 dislikes are from the 55cm carp
hahahaha you might be onto something there Thomas! Thanks for watching and commenting mate
Could feed a village, ever strapped for cash I guess I know where to get unlimited food 😂
Haha i know right!
benigo i live like 2 hours from you
2 hours is pretty close but also far away haha
