- Multi Carp fishing challenge! Graeme heads off West to deepest Devon where he has been doing a couple of all-night fishing sessions after the fish..but does he sleep during the day? NO WAY! He gets straight onto one of the lakes at Angler's Paradise fishery to see what he can catch with his trusty setup of Waggler float, Avon rod..and some pieces of Bread. His target is to catch several different species of fish, but will he succeed? You may want to put your sunglasses on for a couple of the fish he catches...Outlandish colours...Enjoy!

Fantastic video Graeme, loved it from start to finish.
Definitely attracted by the noise, which feels counterintuitive. The match guys fishing pellet waggler swear by the plop plop plot of Pellets going in and the splash of the float is the key to its success. Will have to give anglers paradise a crack one day, looks a lovely setting
I like it for the huge number of lakes available and the fact its fairly quiet down there.

I used to keep maggots in the pockets of my coat when fishing. At school the next day I dumped my coat on my desk and sent a handful of bronze maggots onto the desk of the girl next to me…..cue screams and detention.
Gra may i say well done in keeping 2 of the best rods ever made.I broke both of mine and have been on the hunt for the originals for ages. U are 1 luki guy look after those master pieces. If you ever sell them try remember this and give me a message. However id take them to the grave.

Bread has to be one of the best all time baits. Any chance you could do a vid about how you actually film your fishing? How you set the cameras up and sound extra? Very difficult I would imagine and fish as well. Would be interesting to see.
I do it all on my own,it would be an absolute doddle with a second guy doing the camera work ,then I just concentrate on the fish catching,but its just a lot of satisfaction filming and then editing knowing you did it on your own. Hard to describe,and I have lost more than my share of fish with slack line while I try to move camera angles. Sound has always been my problem but I just adjust what I can in the software edit. Its only for TH-cam,not television so I just muddle my way through things. Sometimes it all works out.
@@TAFishing Yes, I know you film it all your self. That's why it would be interesting to see how you actually go about the process. The vid that got me is when you caught shark from your boat. How you manged to film all that and fish at the same time is amazing. Thanks for taking the time to reply and continuing to make these films for us all.

1 day back in 1977 the month elvis passed away I sat fishing with a crusty cob loaf a 7ft spinning rod black Prince fishing reel with 8lb Bayer perlon line and caught 7 carp the biggest 27lb all off the top graeme.. who needs fancy gear and boilies my friend.also a washing up bottle top😅😁🤣 best day of my life fishing
That's a big Carp off the surface, and unfortunately I remember the names Black Prince and Perlon....
Love Anglers Paradise , my favourite lake is the Easy Access lake, hope you managed the walk back up from the koi lake OK.
Also I did a night on Easy Access,film not going up yet though.
lovely fish and yes people spend a fortune on koi, and even more on filters heaters and food.. maybe they hould fed them bread..
Must cost a fortune with the increase in electric to run the pumps,filters,lighting and whatever.

Bread, the king of baits. I use little else for carp. One thick sliced loaf usually last me for two sessions. Really good value bait. Its a shame that more and more fisheries are banning it, especially those fisheries that have a shop on site selling bait and want you to buy expensive fancy baits. I wonder why that could be? 😂🤣
I find the discount bread section in the supermarket is particularly good value !!!

Don't know if there are Goldfish in there ,wouldn't surprise me as there is a good mix of different species.

I went to a fishery yesterday and I didn’t know how so many fish actually have parasites living on them🤢, it put me off from even taking a pic with them😁
They might have ben leeches,which happens a lot in the colder months as the fish get a bit dormant and sink down near the bottom. Pike are especially prone to them in winter. I pull them off with forceps,but I guess there are hundreds more in the water.
Can you go to a pond or lake ..that dosent have hundreds of fish in.
Where you are not guaranteed to catch fish.its a challenge .thanks john.
I'll try to find one that has only three fish in it,probably named of course ,and then catch them in the alphabetical order of their names..that would be a good challenge.
Was this filmed this week or are some videos delayed before they’re published? Just wondering if the carp are catchable on the surface at this time of year or when it was warmer a few months ago. Cheers
Check all the leaves on the trees and bushes....certainly not filmed last week in all the storms ! Carp off the top are normally in warmer weather,summer or autumn,though if there is a mild spell in winter you can get the odd fish off the surface.
@@TAFishing Thanks, I hadn’t thought to check the leaves on the trees. We’ve had plenty of blue skies amongst the storm here but difficult to tell the temperature on a video. :)

I know the one you mean,but with over 1000 films up I can't remember the title to search for. Might have been Chub fishing small rivers ? Maybe with Cheese or worms ? Might be worth a search.

An old Avon rod at least 35 years old.
Nowhere around me will allow bread to be used!
Shame,as it can be a deadly bait. Basic is often best.

What lake is this?
One on the Anglers Paradise complex. I believe I mention each lake in the film. The 1st one is the Koi lake I think.
its funny carp are garbage fish here in the USA..but man do they fight
Only to some, sasquatch. More and more anglers are enjoying them for the excellent sport they are.
I watch all the time and I still expect you to give the carp a thump in the head and a visit to the bushes sorry I but don’t let them go in the USA they feed the wildlife

Most carp I managed in one day on the float was 54,I've never managed to beat that
