Great to see the flying footage Rob. Now that you’ve been flying it for a bit, what kind of specs are you getting? Cruise speed, stall speed, takeoff and landing distances? I really like all the mods you put on the new version of your Pacer and want to include many of your choices into my Pacer upgrade. I had a 1954 PA22/20 Pacer for 3-1/2 years and took to the 2023 Oshkosh airshow week. But I ground-looped it in Fort Dodge Iowa on my way back to Washington. So I ended up finding a replacement, a 1956 PA22/20 Pacer with half the hours TT, and it has the larger Lycoming O-320 engine, and the Stewart wingtip mod like you have on Pinto Bean 2. There is a lot more I need to do on it, and you have inspired me to forge ahead… it can be done! Hope to someday visit you up there at your northern fly-in. Thanks for sharing your stuff. Congrats on the new bird! Mine was an Iowa airplane before I picked it up. Feel free to email me or find me on the social medias. Would love to bounce some ideas around for your build! PopsAirService@gmail.com
@@RobOlsenDrye I’ll have to check them out. I thought I had seen all of your videos, but apparently, TH-cam hasn’t been giving me notifications. Can’t wait to see more. Such a cool plane.
There is not ready to go kit. But the stcs are held by Eddie Trimmer of Trimmer aviation in Willow AK. Great, knowledgeable, legend of a engineer, designer, fabricator, and entrepreneur
The bean look’s awesome man. Keep the videos coming
I love your pacer dude, rebuild came out amazing.
Thanks! Not much I would change either
So cool! More vids please!! You're a fun person to listen to. Keep going!
Thank you!! Unfortunately the pacer is in pieces so I haven’t flown a lot lately. Hoping for more here soon
Nice to see some off airstrip Pacer action!
My favorite way to use my pacer!
Best bush plane for the money! Looks like fun times!
Oh man is it! Love that paint scheme on yours!
Very sweet! An area I have yet to explore! Stay safe fellow pacer driver!
Nice flying!
very cool. Great finds.
Thank you!
wow, thats amazing, those glass floats, never heard of that at all. Pacer's looking great, thanks for sharing
Thanks Tim. The glass floats are really cool. Quite a treat to find.
Such a cool video! You gotta post more adventures!
Thank you! I plan on it, but unfortunately the airplane is going under the knife so my adventures will be by boat and foot for a bit
im ur 635 sub
Heck yeah man, good to see you back and this time in the worlds nicest pacer
Haha. It definitely checks all the boxes for me
Having seen this pacer in person, I completely agree! Absolutely beautiful and functional!
@@AkPacerPilot I’m a little jealous haha, hope I make my way to Alaska one day
@@jimecee yeah it’s an amazing place, but the backcountry can eat your lunch up here if you aren’t prepared.
He’s back!
I have some more footage to edit together as well. Just tough to live life, and do all the adult things one is suppose to do!

Awesome to see you back. Are we gonna get a tour of the rebuilt and updated Pacer?
I have more than a few videos I need to edit together. A lot of the mods have been discussed in prior videos if you haven’t seen them

Super nice rebuild! I learned to fly in Naknek in a Tri-Pacer on floats - it's an amazing part of AK. Are you working for a lodge up there?
Yes I was. I work for Katmai Air based at kulik for the summers!
Right on, sounds like a good gig. I was contracting on Rapids Camp and Branch River Air aircraft. Getting excited for summer?!
Que no ella esa naturaleza y esas eferas de cristal ,que bonitas son !
Bella esa naturaleza SII
Did you use an stc for the right patrol door before the seaplane door stc?
Ok please share where you got the door kits and the moon roof?
There is not ready to go kit. But the stcs are held by Eddie Trimmer of Trimmer aviation in Willow AK. Great, knowledgeable, legend of a engineer, designer, fabricator, and entrepreneur
no , they could not have melted glass out at sea, takes to much space for wood plus could burn the boat up
Ahh. That makes some sense. The fuel required would be heavy and take up a lot of space for sure.
I doubt they would be able to get the required temp onboard a ship to make glass to blow balls. 1700 C or 3090 F . Could be wrong .
That’s a point I had not thought about. Maybe I’ll research into this more over the winter too
@@RobOlsenDrye I did think about souveniring the tusks when I saw the dead Walrus but thought they might stink a bit !
@@RGF56 they really weren’t bad at all. But I also didn’t take the whole head
Is that Iguigig you took off from at the beginning?
Nope that’s my lodge at kulik lake, east of king salmon.
Is your pacer experimental?
No sir. Certified, quite a few stcs and such
Nothing stinks worse than a dead walrus...
