I'm on the east coast of the USA. Specifically NJ. We have about a 75 mile ride to the continental shelf. I fish from a 17ft skiff that I have customized for tuna mahi and sharks. I take that boat close to 50 miles out on the right day. I've talked about trying to get with a big boat to get me all the way out. This is awesome. My goal this year is to catch a tilefish in my boat (55 to 65 miles). If I can do that then I can make the trip all the way.
