It's like big brother little bro... and BOTH ARE handsome.. support these 2 at all costs!! Two positive men who spread their joy while HELPING HORSES❤❤❤
I'm gobsmacked how much work goes into being a farrier. It's a delight watching you both.sam your so patient and Tom is learning fast from you. So brilliant ❤
I cannot tell you how fully MANLY it is to see your genuine kindness toward each other and love for what you do. It’s so enjoyable watching your videos where it would be stressful if you guys were just 2 rude dudes giving each other crap and being mean spirited.
PHENOMENAL WORKMANSHIP!! Tom chasing the sheltlands was funny! He has the BEST TEACHER! I could watch you guys work all day!! I'm so glad you're feeling better, Sam!💯👆🐴🧲💞🌟😘👍
I'm very glad to see, that your cold is gone, Sam! And Tommy is back!!! Yeah, everything is okay again now!!! 🎉🎉🎉 It was amazing, to watch both of you, making these horseshoes. 💪🔨💪🔨 Specially, because it was the first time for you, Tom!!! Well done!!!!! 👍👍👍
Awwww Tom, we did miss ya but glad you had a holiday, Sam definitely missed you as well as his poor van that was in a right state. Hope you are feeling better now Sam, keep hydrating and good old honey, lemon and ginger drink. Always a delight to see your ponies Tom, aren't they cheeky making you chase them through the muddy field, such a hoot, okluvyabye. Getting an eyeful of Tom's eyeball SEEYA!
I just got a job at a miniatures/little horses/American Shetland stud yesterday! They are so damn cute. I'm looking forward to training the lil dudes! Lovely to see Tom back! Glad you feeling better, Sam ❤
Another great video! Glad to have Tom back. Tom you did a great job on making the plainstamp shoe! I can't wait to see the new truck. Keep up the great work guys! :-)😁
😦 There is something mesmerizing about watching you perform your craft. Such care and practice to reach this precision ! Beautiful ! 💙 Man !! You two must be CHILLY !! I can see your breath !, Brrrrr !!! 🥶
Wow. You are both very skilled with the hammer and making horseshoes! But then, you're very skilled in all your dealings with horses' hooves. Keep it up gents. We admire watching you. ❤
I have noticed Sam trying to train Tom to be conscious of thrift in the practice. The care for the expensive tools and turning off or down the gas when not in use. Practical things as well as the skill of making the horseshoes. I noticed last time that Sam had a few older shoes in his van, so I don't think they just leave them when they clean up. Makes my day to watch this You Tube content with Samuel Wolfenden. I also learn something everytime I watch Sam. This lesson I learned several things one being the hammer types. The heavy one (I have yet to find the name, but I will!!) has two different sides. The rounded one is probably the one that caused Sam's head injury. He mentions in this video which side he is using. The flat side for flat surfaces? I will go back and watch just for that. I don't have the strength to do what Sam and Tom do, but I love to learn and am fascinated by this.
@@charleswebster2550 Watched it again and Sam mentions when he used the rounded side of the hammer in turning the metal. The flat on the flat side. Thanks for the name Charles Webster!
@@ritawood2772 You are very welcome Ms. Wood. I'm glad you are so inquisitive. I failed to mention there are numerous weights of hammers in general to accommodate the job at hand. I was handed down many of my grandfather's tools. Also, my mother had her own household tool box with a very old small ball peen hammer in it. Great for tacks and tin and such, and goes where a flathead can't. I encourage you to continue your investigative journey. Best to you!
@@charleswebster2550 I have researched Farrier tools and all they post is the hammer itself. Also trying to learn and remember horse anatomy so I understand Sam more quickly.
You can see Tom is quite tense when he first started to hit with his hammer and as time went on he started to relax all of this will come with time just like you Sam its all second nature to you i followed in the footsteps of my Dad and became a mechanic and I remember being just like that
You guys are great together! It really is like watching brothers. I laughed like crazy when Tom went slipping and sliding in the mud. 😅😅 The ponies were adorable ❤❤
I have nothing but admiration for people who can take a raw material and a few tools to hand craft such beautifully precise & useful items. Great watching the process.
The side eye "noh" from Tom😂 Oh, I just love this channel! You two go together like peas and carrots! Adore you both and your amazing craft and compassion for the animals❤️💚🤍
Welcome back Tom! We missed you! Glad you are feeling better, Sam! Loved Molly! That halter hanging down under her head was some kind of horsemanship!😂 I loved how Louie tried to escape from Tom!🤣
Good job, guys. I'm glad to see Tom back from Spain. I know forging is difficult, yet you make it look easy. I'm looking forward to seeing your new work vehicle.
Always a joy to see a craftsman who loves his work sharing it with the next generation. Keeping the craftsmanship in all the work you do. Very important information for Keeping a horse's feet in top condition. Great banter, and excellent for a down to earth look at the craft. A favourite duo, love you both, keep being awesome 👌 😅
Love to see Tom back, he's such fun. Obviously, Sam is very nice on the eyes always and it's good to see him back in good health. I personally adore the Shetlands, so no complaints about more of them ❤
Brilliant work as always Sam. It's freezing up there but you're just wearing a t- shirt!! You are a superb teacher to Tom. Well done guys, keep the good work up! 😊
One of your better videos if not the best. They're all entertaining and educational. This one, however, was all of the above plus great editing, exceptional narration, fun bantering, good cinematography, and overall an uplifting energy. Oh, and I really liked the addition of music (fitting choice btw) when there was no talking. You both have a "je ne sais quoi" quality that is endearing. Keep up the excellent work and the volume of videos. Never tire of watching y'all. You promote good vibes!
Welcome back Tom. Missed you but I understand you needed your time away & your hair is nicely groomed Tom. Sam, glad you're feeling better & your hair always looks good 😍. Now, let's get to work. What are you studying in college Tom?
I'm glad you are feeling better Sam. Welcome back Tom, you were missed. I am obsessed with your videos. I had no idea what it took to be a farrier. I don't own a horse but if I did, Sam you would be the one I would call.🤗❤
Hi Sam and Tom I’m glad you are feeling better Sam It’s unbelievable how you transform a horseshoe from the early stages to the finish! Working with red hot iron is incredible How do you memorise a horse’s shaped when you burn it on? Love you bye ❤️
As someone who spent a career in healthcare working with massive computerized machines, I can see the appeal to Tom to learn this. What an opportunity!
I can imagine it’s a hard work, but looks like a “fairytale” in a way. Beautiful countryside( far from the cities) amazing views on the hills, animals and people obviously love you. I envy you, guys! Can’t wait for another vid
You two really should stay together after Tom finishes the program-you’re such an amazing team! Sam, you looked so down in that video while Tom was in Spain.
I'm a Ford retiree so I love that you drive Fords! Can't wait to see new wheels. Love your channel. Skilled trade for all time. You gotta love horses to be a farrier. Carry on mates!

Tom is right! It was boring without him. These guys are sooooo likable
I didn’t think it was boring at all, but I agree, the two together are very likeable!
They’re good apart but better together when they have each other to banter with.

Protect their eyes !!! 👁️ 🤎
Hearing protection is actually equally or more important in farriery. Industrial deafness is a thing. I can feel it watching this!
