Being a Farrier is a very noble profession, especially when you take into consideration the horses' requirements, feelings, pain threshold etc. Your work is vital. I watch you regularly and you always do a great job on your horses. I'm positive they feel really larney once you have done their 'nails'. 😂 Somewhat like us ladies after a pedicure. It's not really that strange you've reached 100k + subscribers, as you have a very good channel. The work is interesting, especially to see how horseshoes are fitted and see what horses' hooves are like and how they differ from cows' hooves (I've watched a lot of cow hoof trimming on TH-cam). Also you're a good presenter with a sense of humour as well as being good at your work, and the chemistry between you and Tom is also a factor.
How cute are the little dogs taking off with the toe nails!! When the farrier has been to our place we find chewed toe trimmings everywhere, they love it!

Same here. I’m a tax accountant. I sit at a desk all day solving puzzles on a computer, and Sam spends his day solving puzzles with live animals and metal out in the elements. I find it fascinating and often wonder what it would be like to have a job like this, and whether I should change careers at 30 lol. Then, I fall asleep because the videos are relaxing lol. Yes. It's hard work, farrying.. all weathers, all sorts of horses temperaments, even when you're poorly. But, it's very rewarding. I’ve been realizing the more videos of Sam I watch, that to me, and I don’t know a whole hell of a lot about shoeing horses, that Sam is much more than a just some guy nailing on horseshoes. He is quite the specialist and quite highly educated in his field. Just like anyone else taking on years of study and on the job training to know the intricacies of the leg and foot structures. Being a farrier is quite a skilled trade to be admired for the dedication he has to these beautiful animals and to their welfare.

I’ve been realizing the more videos of Sam I watch, that to me, and I don’t know a whole hell of a lot about shoeing horses, that Sam is much more than a just some guy nailing on horseshoes. He is quite the specialist and quite highly educated in his field. Just like anyone else taking on years of study and on the job training to know the intricacies of the leg and foot structures. Being a farrier is quite a skilled trade to be admired for the dedication he has to these beautiful animals and to their welfare.

I started watching you because I love horses when I was a little girl I had one. And it was a Shetland so I always remember my horse Tonka and I watch you because you and Tom are so kind and gentle with the horses. Also, you’re easy on my eyes. I love you both your Comadre you’re joking your phone. It’s all good.
