It looks like a more modern steering wheel with a tacky looking H emblem. I don't see why resto rod guys object to door handles, especially on a great classic like this.
Hello. I am a Hupp myself and i believe Robert may be a distant relative of mine. I have yet to see one of these in person. Is your collection available for the public to visit?
Not to nitpick, but I think it's Raymond Loewy. My dad has a 1935 518D model in the carriage shed.
Cool car! I don't have the money for this car. But if I did ,I would love to have it.
It's Raymond Loewy, not Lowery!
I love it. Very reminiscent of the one-off Pierce-Arrow of I think 1932. Question, is it legally road-worthy? I didn't see seatbelts etc..
everything but the wheels and those silly looking side vent doors on the hood.
I hate restromods. Ruins the uniqueness.
Luv it!
12V?
Sadly, I can not afford it.
Thank you for sharing.
What a horrible steering wheel and column- seats too! Yuk!

What a shame, removing the original drive train. The wheels don't suit it.

Is there a Hupmobile Museum anywhere?
Well.. a little interesting……thanks. I prefer OEM, & this “35 Model “ May be a rarity……ETC.
Horrible wheels don't go with that car.
