In 1958 my dad rented a Morris Minor in Maastricht. I can still to this day remember the smell of the leather inside that car after it had warmed up in the sun. We went on a trip to Germany. I have a photo of that car from the trip. It's a good memory of a long time ago.

A rear engine is crackers, The minor was probably intended to take a flat four engine, just look at the engine bay set up tons of room so who would transfer bulk into the boot? Removing the boot shelf and transfer the spare to under the bonnet or hood would make sense not a rear engine. I always wanted a red one with black spots for my ladybird.
Being a Morri Nut and having owned a soft top, 4door and a 2 door at the same time, belonging to the SAMMC in Jo'burg, I think this is a wonderful idea and can't wait to see it on the road.
