Quality of life is what is equated to how much money you have in your pocket to pay for the goods and services that you need on a monthly basis by paying $900 on rent doesn't work for me when there's places around the world that can do it for a lot less
Most people I know here in Cana-duh have had their wisdom teeth removed. Not because they needed to, but because the dentists know that all of their clients have an insurance plan and they're going to make the most of that. The biggest paying job for a dentist here is....guess what....removing wisdom teeth! Looking forward to that one-way ticket out of here.
I m from canary island and I was looking your nice vodeos about Paraguay. But with this video... man... you spend way a lot compare to me in Belgium; like the internet and rent but I understand all of that is high quality! 😊
I live in Fort Worth Texas. I used to live in the UK, Dubai and Canada. I never lived in Latin America but I like watching these videos to hear the comparisons.
Definitely, your energy rates are great. I think in Bogotá we pay about what you do but don’t use heat or air conditioning. Internet seems to be about the same.
Cool to know you have lived in Dallas. I am from Dallas and have my 6 year old daughter living in Luque. I am trying to figure out a way to get a good digital nomad job in order to be with her while also making good money online.
Ok. It's a nice apartment for $900. But you can rent/buy houses for that in parts of the USA. So basically you replaced a US Yuppie Keep up with the Jones's $6,000/mo lifestyle for $4,000/mo. Now you just need to find lots of retirees who want to move to a developing country to spend $50k a year and rent.
It depends very much on the type of person you are and what you want to pay. I live on 450 USD a month including everything except health insurance that is separately. My hostel with air-condition, free usage of laundry machine, wifi, toilets and kitchen is shared and cost about 200 USD a months (1 500 000 guarani). I pay the same for food and beer and to buy powder for washing cloths etc. Then I have 500 000 guarani for extra or luxuray costs. So total expenses apart from insurence is 15 USD a day and though economic it's not bad standard of living. Why people with money want to live next to a mall is also a mysterium, I live close to the real center and it's in my opinion much nicer. Just outside I buy a liter of beer for 1 USD and I have grilled meat or ribs for 2 USD. In mercado uno a meal is 2 USD(15000).
very useful information, thanks Gerald! ✌️
Thank you for informations ℹ️
Thank you for sharing your experience living in Asunción Paraguay. It was very helpful for future reference 👏👏👏

Lol your rent in Belgium is less than 900? I doubt it. Not with a comparable place

I also spend time in Paraguay. I just noticed that in Asuncion, you should not use Uber it is more expensive. Use Bolt and thank me later.
What sort of food are you getting in Paraguay? Could you give a name or two and the plates offered?
Does Paraguay have an estrato system like Colombia?
