Please update for new constructions, buildings or establishments being build in BGC..Ganda ng floorings ng mall..Sana ganyan ang floorings ng mga train stations natin..
Hahaha! Jenny calling Jay out on the Pocky! Love it 😄! See I'm telling you Jay is a secret investor of Lam's 😉! It's really good though 👌. Btw, I forgot to tell you, our son Ty the other day was asking, "Are they the owners of BGC?" 😄. Too funny!
Nice Mall I wish there were malls in my province area but it's pretty desolated and pretty much a dead zone as far as anything to do see or even places to go to LoL 🤣😆
Great video... surprisingly. MOS burger is usually bigger and maybe rent is higher and need to sell lots. Not crowded like Japan Love Ikinary steaks ...many in Japan
In your previous videos, you mentioned that our country's stigma being a 3rd world is antiquated, obsolete; and should be removed. Care to explain why? You can't just explicitly say this while only vlogging in BGC -- one of the most, if not, the most modern city in the Philippines. Care to visit urban slums and malnourished kids who are ignored by the current government and try to tell that the stigma of "PH as a 3rd world country" should be removed? Please do not spread misinformation towards your viewers.
Sure, I can indulge you... Well, for starters I was born and raised in California, so my perspective and point-of-view might different greatly from yours. Growing up (and well into my adult life), the Philippines always carried with it a negative stereotype/stigma of being a "third world country" where there was nothing but poverty/misery/chaos/etc. and a place people only wanted to escape from, not migrate to. I'm not saying that the term "third world country" is fair, it's just the real-life reality of how many people from America perceived the Philippines back then when I was growing up. These days, I think it's become increasingly difficult for anyone from afar to just lump the entire country as being "third world country" because of all the amazing progress/development that has taken place in recent years. For example, here's a comment from a viewer of the last vlog... "When I was growing up in the 90s, the only central business districts were makati and ortigas. Now, there are like 20-30 cbds" So, it really depends on what lens you're looking at things from. I prefer to look at the glass as being half full. No, I'm not saying the entire country is fully developed and everything is all shiny, glitzy, and modern like BGC.... far from it! However, I do also realize that change can only happen one day at a time, and you have to start somewhere... So with all that said, yes, I do believe that it's totally unfair and ignorant for someone from afar to just play with lazy stereotypes and assume (as before) that the Philippines is nothing more than a "third world country." In terms of visiting slums and seeing what goes on there... Again, I'm not saying the entire country is BGC... Here's another great comment from a viewer that sums up my viewpoint: "The Philippines has come a long way in the last decade, and the country is just starting, so of course there are still a lot of those impoverished and depressed areas. Progress does not happen overnight, but the PH is certainly heading in the right direction." I don't think I'm spreading misinformation, but again, it really depends on what lens you're using to view things (progress). What can I say? I'm an optimist and I believe in the future direction of 🇵🇭 Cheers!
