I've been here in 1994, Akihibara, called the "Electronic Town" of Japan. There's a lot people there every day, that place is busy town because of lots of people doing shopping.

@@audiocostruzioni_ Ovvio la mia era una provocazione per dire che i giovani adesso ascoltano la musica con il cellulare e le cuffiette. Quindi siamo rimasti noi cinquantenni. Appassionati di musica ma ascoltata in maniera decente. Io sono quel ragazzo che ho preso da te circa un mese fa ampli e cd Marantz con monitor audio silver 300. Il tutto suona molto bene sono molto contento. Grazie mille a voi.

Una volta anche da noi esistevano negozi del genere, come quello in cui giurai eterno amore e ammirazione per la serie 91 di Pioneer (poi mai acquistata per palesi problemi di povertà).
C'è poco da fare però: da ragazzino ti innamori degli apparecchi, in seguito, ti innamori di quello che esce dagli apparecchi.

I used to think the electronics & HiFi shops on Tottenham Court Road (London) & 42nd Street (New York) were amazing (in the 80's and 90's).
This is a whole order of magnitude better!!

I wish they would open more stores like that here in the USA. Now those type of systems are real good stereo systems instead of these small boombox type stuff they keep trying to sell etc.
So true. U.S. citizens seem to have little interest in quality stereo. I lived near Baltimore, MD. in the late 60's. The stereo shops there were great. I live near Erie, PA. now, a large town, and hi fi stereo there is dead. They had a few years back. It looks to me that here in the U.S. most people are content with the small boom box stuff that isn't worth a hill of beans. They must have tin ears. I presently have a pair of Klipsch KLF-25, each with two 12 inch woofers, a midrange horn and a tweeter horn. The new Klipsch "Jubilee" s are off he charts. Check them out.
Gratzi, I saw this Tokyo district and others many times from 1983 to 2000. I remember when Tower Records would have the latest CD made in Japan. Germany too.

I remember growing up in the 80’s, there were hi-fi shops everywhere, now there’s only a few about 60 miles away
and look at pioneer's stand in this video, it looks almost dead compared to yamaha with their URGLY plasticky looking speakers or to denons...
Man, you don't know where to look, everything is so beautiful!!!💪

@@fghjfghgj Con me sul discorso dei dazi, "sfondi" una porta aperta; io sono pienamente d'accordo; il mio "purtroppo" era dipeso dal fatto che sono prodotti già costosi di per se, ed il resto si tratta di una dovuta e giustificata conseguenza. Per quanto riguarda il discorso farmaceutico, (poco pertinente) ci sono aziende che speculano anche su questo fronte, quindi alla fine, quello che tu denoti un lusso nell'Hi-Fi non giustifica però il prezzo alto di un medicinale. Maa... questo è un altro argomento.

Now that right there folks a real bonafide HI-FI/Electronics store. I miss J&R music world in NYC that had a show room similar to this. Now all we have in the USA is Best Buy and PC Richard! This video makes Me glad and sad at the same time. Hi-Fi is dead in the U.S.
Hi-Fi is "dead" in the Americas, and just "not much popular" in Europe.
I imagine that Hi-Fi audio will come back on top when 24-bit audio becomes popular (at least at the end of this decade or at the start of the next decade).

Alot of Australians would love to go there, but we are not permitted to leave the Country.
The lack of Hi-Fi stores since the early 2000's is a worldwide problem for all of Hi-Fi audio enthusiasts, especially in developing and/or poor countries.
I hope this reality will change when 24-bit audio becomes a thing in Hi-Fi (Lossless 24-bit Streaming and/or a possible return of Blu-Ray audio discs) and Low-Fi (smartphones and bluetooth in-ear) audio

ciao in questo negozio ci sarò entrato 1000 volte hanno una scelta da paura a confronto di noi pero ce un problema, che forse pochi lo sanno tante cose elettroniche non li puoi comprare per il fatto della tensione elettrica che in Giappone o come Usa e di 110 volt o ti prerndi un converter o bruci tutto ,in ogni caso questo negozio ha anche un reparto di prodotti fatti per il mercato dove hanno una tensione a 220v trovi tanta ,adesso non so se questi stereo di fascia alta sopportano le due tensioni non sono un esperto in ogni caso bel video
