Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they donât melt on me, lol. But I donât think itâll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I havenât put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I donât see the fraying for a while. The issue I have is that brands like Chanel are no longer asking people to pay for the quality of their items like back in the day. I get that there is the issue of exclusivity, but there is nothing you can say to me to make me pay Eur 8000 simply to be associated with a name. Like really, who are you?!?! Give me a high quality non-designer bag any day of the week! Quite frankly, if I really fall in love with any particular Chanel design, I would go to the *esluxy* market because I do not see the value that Chanel or many of these luxury fashion houses offer. Japan has very strict laws on counterfeit luxury goods. Unlike other countries that can import counterfeit LV/Designer for personal use, anything that infringes on trademarks cannot be imported for sale or personal use into Japan. Most counterfeits get confiscated by customs. However it's not always 100% accurate and some do get through. Most likely most items are authentic, in the video the LV are vintage/heavily used so the price is cheap.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch at the *preluxz* to compare materials etc. The real brooch is nearly 4 times the price and is made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass.

I have a Chanel lambskin square pearl bag and a Chanel handbag but my lambskin square petal bag I have worn 2 times and I am very careful but somehow still has small scratches on the leather and the gold on the clasp. I don’t know what happened but I paid over $3,000 for it a few years ago and I am upset that it already has scratches. No one notices now but I notice the price I paid for it. I’m saving up to buy another *esluxy* bag now that I won’t be paying full price anymore.
I just got back from togoshi ginza, the trefacstyle and 2nd street store there had awesome prices and really awesome clothes. I love crewneck sweaters and they had plenty of those. I got a couple of vintage champion and converse for only 1000 yen (like $3) each. They also had nice looking coats for only a thousand. I got this beautiful eddie bauer winter coat for about $60 as well. It was very high quality with color and designs. If you are a size L, XLish i recommend you to thrift in japan as there are sections of clothes for you that are dirt cheap since many locals are to small to fit in them, therefore they are put on sale haha
I've had designer pieces and knockoffs of kislux . I ultimately prefer the knockoffs because I'm not worried about scratching it, preserving it, or someone stealing it.
Considering these prices, I find the people who do this are smart. Unless you're just buying to follow a trend, I think it's logical to spend a few hundred bucks on a fake from *condup* to see if you actually like the bag and if it fits your life.

Great video! I agree with you about personal safety concerns, especially when traveling, getting robbed on vacation is painful enough, but getting robbed with an authentic bag is even worse. To me, it makes sense to travel with a fake *condup* bag and not carry any valuables that you would miss. I have two pre-loved *hotdups* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
I bought a LV bag gtdupe years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

Japan has very strict laws on counterfeit luxury goods. Unlike other countries that can import counterfeit LV/Designer for personal use, anything that infringes on trademarks cannot be imported for sale or personal use into Japan. Most counterfeits get confiscated by customs. However it's not always 100% accurate and some do get through. Most likely most items are authentic, in the video the LV are vintage/heavily used so the price is cheap.

(I only use it to travel) every time I'm in the airport, women stop me about that tote. Side note: Chanel uses gold plated now for the logo.

This is so sad because we know LV canvas gets thinner over time but Goyard’s canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to own a coated canvas *HOTDUPS* bag is that it is lightweight and indestructible

I have a Chanel lambskin square pearl bag and a Chanel handbag but my lambskin square petal bag I have worn 2 times and I am very careful but somehow still has small scratches on the leather and the gold on the clasp. I don’t know what happened but I paid over $3,000 for it a few years ago and I am upset that it already has scratches. No one notices now but I notice the price I paid for it. I’m saving up to buy another *esluxy* bag now that I won’t be paying full price anymore.
I just got back from togoshi ginza, the trefacstyle and 2nd street store there had awesome prices and really awesome clothes. I love crewneck sweaters and they had plenty of those. I got a couple of vintage champion and converse for only 1000 yen (like $3) each. They also had nice looking coats for only a thousand. I got this beautiful eddie bauer winter coat for about $60 as well. It was very high quality with color and designs. If you are a size L, XLish i recommend you to thrift in japan as there are sections of clothes for you that are dirt cheap since many locals are to small to fit in them, therefore they are put on sale haha

I inspected every aspect of the bag and everything from the stitching to the hardware looked top notch. The leather was soft, the logo embossed precisely, and even the lining felt luxurious. It was hard to believe that this wasn't a *HOTDUPS* LV Nano bag.

I use my *hotdups* as a work bag and have no problems at all. It's a comfortable bag and fits a lot of things without losing its shape. Of course, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys or anything that could damage the inside.
I sell bags and buy genuine and fake ones. Many times I've been asked about the Prada bags I post and people think are real, I always tell them it's a fake bag they bought on *condup* and they can't believe it.

To be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are *hotdups* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do。

Great video! I agree with you about personal safety concerns, especially when traveling, getting robbed on vacation is painful enough, but getting robbed with an authentic bag is even worse. To me, it makes sense to travel with a fake *condup* bag and not carry any valuables that you would miss. Also, if your bag gets damaged by dust, stains, accidents, whatever it is, it doesn't matter even if it's fake.

While Chanel has always been a favorite of mine, their quality has gone down while prices have skyrocketed. I don’t think this can be called a luxury product anymore. I think this is greed and disrespect for customers. So I'm looking elsewhere.
