Hi! What's the software you use to display FPS and temperatures in the benchmarking portion of the video? I've seen it a lot and would be interested in comparing with my own system.
I just love your channel. as someone who loves pc building and just messing around with components, I get to live vicariously through you, and not spend all my money.
Speaking of the "light" power supply, If the PSU weighs less than the board, CPU and memory combined, then you have a problem. But for 1000 watt power supply I would venture to say it's probably 50-60% efficient so you might get 500-600 watts on a good day. That is of course, if it doesn't catch fire when you load it up to 50% so around 500 watts worth of components. With respect to the motherboard CPU socket pins, I found that they can actually be more durable than people think. I mean you have to push something onto them to bend them, so something likely would have had to go through the box, which even pressing on it, or crushing it, probably wouldn't necessarily bend the pins. It would have to almost be a direct impact or force right over the socket as the metal plate does help protect them, and the piece of paper as well, despite them coming with plastic covers instead from the factory. (Yes I did bend a bunch of pins on an already-bad (dead) motherboard once to see how durable they were).
So, what I can take from this video is that you can actually build a decent(?) System from wish as long as you buy a PSU from a more reputable source and also the CPU so you don't get ripped off.
I actually have a 100R, but that's the quiet edition with the foam and fan switch on the back. Mine lacks those, but has an acrylic side panel. I needed something normal, cheap, that had optical drive bays when my Alienware toasted its lil power board internally, a quick, cheap, 'make it a normal desktop' kinda thing. And I DID have that issue with the CPU power cable.
It's not only bad psu's. My mothers 3rd gen intel was running with a coolermaster psu and PC just refused to display. So I gave her an upgraded and as this intel only has a g2020 CPU in it and on to trouble shooting. Everything worked and so last thing to test was psu and amazingly it worked after I swapped it with a crap no name psu and it works fine. It's a 450w unit good enough to power a g2020 but I am in the process of upgrading it to a 3570k so may need to upgrade.
If you mean the overlay of temperatures and usages then that's baked into MSI afterburner. Just search for a tutorial on how to use MSI afterburner OSD and it should come up with something. It's pretty handy when you get all of the settings how you like them. If your option for OSD doesn't show then reinstall MSI afterburner and make sure the "rivatuner statistics server" box is ticked.

That intro you clipped in at the end was GODLIKE!
What's the background music you're using? cool guitar solo at 9:13

That motherboard probably survived a prior power supply fire. 🤣

4:49 well set the bar low and then you will rarely be disappointed right?
What software are you using to show the system information?
Hwinfo
If you mean the overlay of temperatures and usages then that's baked into MSI afterburner. Just search for a tutorial on how to use MSI afterburner OSD and it should come up with something. It's pretty handy when you get all of the settings how you like them.
If your option for OSD doesn't show then reinstall MSI afterburner and make sure the "rivatuner statistics server" box is ticked.
@@jordanlazarus7345 thank you
If any of these computers ever DO explode, I hope Dawid has a friend edit and upload it. Perfect troll video xD

Your videos get better and better. Love the content you put together. Plus doing a challenge with other TH-cam creators is fun to see on the ideas each have. Keep up the great work.
