One of the perks, when I worked as an entertainer in Branson one year, they would let you into any show in town for free. I saw Andy 20+ times. I never went to any other show.
There will never be another like Andy Williams...I adored you as a child, watched your show weekly and anxiously awaited the Christmas special each year...I played your version of Moon River at my mother’s funeral...Rest with the Angels, LEGEND...#YouAreMissed💔💔💔🎄🎄🎄🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hard to see him looking so ill. He was singing from the age of 5 until 81. He had a four octave range. He never missed a note. He was good, handsome, smart, kind, generous, charitable, funny, snappy dresser, encouraged young talent. RIP Mr Entertainment you will not be replaced.
Andy had a THREE OCTAVE RANGE from E2-E5 One of the World's GREATEST Singers! No vocal impersonators could get more than half of Andy's unique voice it was so complex!
No one even comes close to the vocal talent of Mr. Williams. He is greatly missed by myself and many. Thank you Mr. Andy Williams for all the music and joy you brought to others.
This is... hard to watch. I cried when he began singing The Christmas Song. Not knowing that this is gonna be the last song he would ever sing - and it was. And everyone thought he would come back the next year... it all ended so tragically.
Wonderful singer, with a superb vocal range, style and tone, that unfortunately most of today's singers are not able to come anywhere near. God bless Andy, and thank you for giving us your amazing talent. Now sing with the angels.
Such a gentleman. I loved all his shows back in the day. They dont make entertainers like him anymore. His songs will live on as some of the best in the business.
this man in his eighties can sing a tune with a stellar vocals for decades and singers this days can't even sing well after a few songs..i'm disappointed that i never will have a chance to see him in concert. i wish time machine exist...
It's after 4 AM, another "hard to find sleep" night. Watching this video again and reminiscing. What a terrific man. The most wonderful voice this planet has ever known...or ever will. What must have been on his mind at that moment. Yet he still took us on his vocal runway and up into the sky. The leader of the band. The joyful expression. How fortunate to be the one to shake his hand. Watching those sneakers disappear into the wings... I'm a nobody, from nowhere, but it hurts so much.
Andy Williams has been a favorite since I was old enough to love music. My parents had a great love of music and we listened to All of his music growing up. I have several of his Christmas albums & CDs. It’s not Christmas without him.
What a bittersweet moment, and how wonderfully he was still singing. I was a young child at the time, but I remember Andy's Christmas shows, and I remember watching him sing this song with his brothers and loving their vocal blend. Christmas won't be the same without him.
Andy Williams, the Voice of Christmas! For my last performance with the Army Band, I got to sing "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," and it was like he was on that stage with me! Ever since I heard his voice come through my parents' car stereo thirty years ago on the way home from Christmas Eve service at our church, I've always gotten good bumps when I hear that song.
Andy has been my favorite singer since I was 8 yrs old. I became his fan when I heard his song "Can't Get Use to Losing You!!! Got to see him perform twice in person at the IN State Fair. RIP Andy!!!! Thank you for the music!
I play all his Christmas 🎄 shows on TH-cam every December. I miss him so much. Love his special from 1966 will his parents and all his family around. I miss those times compared to what’s going on now in the country 😢
Andy you will be my greatest ballader as long as I can hear you singing my favorite love songs. Long live after this last performance on stage God willing.
The wonderful Andy Williams. Legend. A beautiful soul. His music brings sunshine/joy to many. (me included) He’s now no longer with us. But his music remains, till the end of time. Thank you for sharing. I’m appreciated.
We arrived in Branson just after his last performance. I was so sad as his songs mean a lot to me. The sadness on this side and the great joy on the other at his passing. He did so much for music here. Thank heavens we have his recordings.
I last saw Andy's Christmas show in Erie, Pa around 1993 at Tullio Convention center then. Such an amazing man and singer. Still have his Christmas album and play it each year...
He had a wonderful life. He was so blessed that nothing more he could ask for. Although i never met ,for me, he seemed like a nice man. I love andy williams!❤❤❤
He was a wonderful singer. From all I've heard about him, he was just as wonderful a human being. Bladder cancer treatment is Not Fun. My BF went through it a few years ago.
I loved when I was in Branson at other shows around Christmas and they all said the Christmas season starts when Andy Williams says it does. He made me laugh many times when he said he was going to sing a Christmas song for us at his theater and he would sing 'Moon River". His shows were the best in Branson and he always had such brilliant performers on stage with him. I miss him so much. RIP Andy - When I get ready for Christmas I always think of you.
I know this comment is 7 years after this video, but Andy Williams was such a gentleman, with my favourite song of his was 'Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year', as it was the first song of his I listened to. I wish he was still around to entertain us all. His vocal chords have been fantastic throughout his entire life, including on this video, for being 84, it was very clear and beautiful to listen to. His voice definitely opened my heart to other kinds of music. Even though I was not born in the 1960's, but I am still appreciative towards him. May he Rest In Peace. 1927-2012
Andy Williams was the best! I've seen him perform many times in Branson. He was even kind enough to let me have my pic taken with him during one of his shows. I treasure it. Thank you, Andy, and thank you digitalwacker for posting.
It wasn't Christmas back in the 60s without Andy Williams Christmas Album and his Christmas variety show with the Osmond Bros. It is 2021 and come this Christmas he will be singing old familar carols in my home. Love him.
I was lucky enough to see his Christmas special w/ my parents during Thanksgiving 2003. I wish I'd been old enough to remember seeing his family Christmas specials.
Andy Williams made Christmas extra special. Sad that there aren't Christmas specials like there used to be. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone.
Thank you so much for this! Wow, his voice was perfect, always! I love Mr. Williams now and forever.... would be great if he met up with my Dad up in heaven!
Always wanted to see the Christmas show and take my mom and my stepdad to Branson to see it. Now we are waiting for my stepdad to die from cancer. Act before you can only regret what you never found time to do.. Merry Christmas
Andy's voice was in great shape right up until the end. A pro such as he would never sing in public unless he was totally up to it. This mortality thing is such a drag.
I only got to see Andy in concert once, when he was 57 years old, and his voice was still smoking great at that time. Would have loved to have heard him sing "Ave Maria" at his concert, but he stuck to his chestnuts and a new LP he made in England that combined classical music with lyrics sung by Andy. His singing during RFK's funeral was unbelievable, and don't pass-up a chance to hear his 1974 "Christmas Present" CD or "The Complete Columbia Christmas Recordings" of Andy Williams (compiled about 2014 by Real Gone Records). R.I.P. Andy.
Seeing this at Christmas time 2017 while compliling a Christmas songs playlist. Playing Andy Williams beautiful Christmas songs, helping to make our Christmas time so lovely. Thank you for putting this video up. ☺
Like many families, we had Andy Williams records by the dozen and wore out multiple copies of his Christmas records, One year, my sister surprised our Mom with tickets to Andy's Christmas show, and Mom was thrilled. My niece however, was annoyed - my sister hadn't even bothered to ask if she wanted to go, and she did. Needless to say, my sister, Mom - and my niece - went to the show the following year!

Thanks to my mom I grew up listening to this Legend
What a class-act. Gracious, humble, and sincere. Unlike those young punk singers nowadays who egotistical, condescending, and phony.
Thank you Andy for all those wonderful years. You lifted our hearts...and took us to a better place. God bless you
If you never sat in the audience of one of his live performances. You will never know what you missed.
