- A tribute to Andy Williams (December 3, 1927 -- September 25, 2012) featuring performances of his signature song "Moon River" spanning 50 years (1962 - 2012), including a guest appearance by composer Henry Mancini.
"Moon River" was the theme song from the motion picture "Breakfast At Tiffany's" (1961) starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard.

I was so happy to find this here. I have loved him and his beautiful, warm singing ever since I was a child! I have so many wonderful memories of his television show and getting to know his lovely family. I even named my son after his son Christian. I was thrilled years later to take my son to Branson to see him perform in his Christmas Show at his Moon River Theater. I feel so blessed to have been alive while he was here on earth. Thank you so much, Andy, for all the joy you have brought me and millions of others over the years! I will always remember you!

I remember seeing Breakfast at Tiffany's my sophomore year at Ohio State, and thought he had a very easy, smooth voice like Perry Como. But then all great performers appear to us as effortless masters of their talents..
I was able to see Andy Williams in person twice. Both times it was magical. I've always preferred male singers. My favorite singer that I've collected since I was 7 or 8 years old is Dean Martin. But I also love Andy Williams, Al Martino, Perry Como, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Barry Manilow. My best female vocal singer has to be Karen Carpenter. God Bless them all! 🤗 Harry Styles is a great new male artist. Decades and decades of wonderful music to enjoy!

I've learned many of his songs. His personality and singing style hit me the day I heard him singing.I saw a dream of him jogging with me .I ran around the corner to tell my wife but I didn't find him anymore... Planned to visit Moon River theater and meet him but...I sing his songs every day.
I fell in love with him as a child and he remained one of my favorite musical talents. Glad I got to see him perform, he was such an icon yet so approachable and down to earth. RIP Andy, you are missed.
Hi from down under. I too have loved Andy Williams since I was a little girl (born in '53). That smile, those teeth, the eyes. Dusty is my female idol and he sings her songs with grace. I've also shed a tear every single time I've heard Moon River. I listen to it regularly and decided as a kid it will be played at my funeral!
Thank you for posting this. I wish more people would watch and see what an incredible talent he was. Never was there a more beautiful voice deliverd with so ease and smoothness. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. I have been listening to his music for 5 decades and it still moves me. There are few performers ever who have left a legacy like his. Thank you Andy. Sorry you are gone but happy you were here.

@@VidBrats yes i'm think so and im also never heard about it from my dad...my dad always story about him to me since in 12 years old...my dad always said andy william is good friend and he want to meet andy william but(sorry admin i cannot tell about this to public...because it is privacy)...my dad passed away in 18 august 2011...i found a lot of they's picture and many telegram letter from andy william since 1992 and last letter from andy william in 2006...he ask my dad to meet him...but..sorry admin i cannot continue because its very privacy😢😢...but the way thanks a lot for the infomation admin...🙏
