@@TwoGuysandaRideNo really, I'm going to have to come back a few times to watch this. I can't remember it all. I just purchased the platinum, Tons to remember. I'm sure it'll get easier after a bit
@@conneautohio yeah there’s a lot to remember and that’s why we make the videos. If you have good reception at your car, you could take a smaller device such as a phone or tablet and watch it while your in the car, and then you can pause it as you try things. Thanks again for watching!
Warning ⛔️ This is a very important video save it. My 2025 Crown XLE has less options. Had to sit in the car with video running trying to set up my display. Manual was useless. Got it done finally. Will setup the 3 displays when it cools down in Louisiana. 😊
Any word on when they'll have a fix for the android auto / carplay frequently not recognizing the phone. I know as of a week ago it was still an issue.
Thanks for the question. As of now there is not an update to fix this issue, nor any notice from Toyota about fixing the issue. Hopefully soon. Thanks for watching!
With the 3 different gauges can you change the style between them? For example, can you have gauge 1 be no gauges, #2 be the 2 gauges (left one power meter), and #3 be the 2 gauges (left one tachometer).
@@TwoGuysandaRide okay. I knew you could change the stuff inside the gauge, I have watch every video I can find on the crown twice, but wasn’t sure if you could have the different gauges sync with your 3 sets. I though only the things inside the gauges could be changed. In other words, can you have a different meter type for your 3 gauges?
Ok, on your phone click on settings, click on Notifications, scroll down and click on Announce Notifications, scroll down click on CarPlay messages, and then click Silence Messages. Thanks for watching!
If you are not getting messages, and you want to, then follow the same directions I gave you , but you would want to turn on Announce Messages, and make sure Announce new Messages is selected
According to Toyota here are the basic steps : 1. Login to an active Toyota app account on your mobile phone. 2. Once logged in, pair the smartwatch to the smartphone via Apple Watch app (iOS) or Wear OS app (Android) and ensure the Toyota app is enabled on your smartwatch settings. 3. Log into your Toyota app on the smartphone with your Toyota credentials. Thanks for watching
It is part of the safety systems. It stands for Proactive Driving Assist. Basically it can help gently slow down the vehicle or gently steer to avoid pedestrians, bicycles, or other vehicles. It uses the front camera and the front radar to do this. It will also slow down the vehicle and help steer when driving around curves. It has to be activated to work. In other words it can be turned on or off. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question. If you have tri-zone climate then you can access the rear air controls by clicking on the Vehicle icon on the left bottom of the infotainment screen then click on climate. Now you should see 2 buttons on the left side one says Front and one says Rear, click on rear and from that screen you should be able to control the rear air. Thanks for watching!
@@TwoGuysandaRide I got it to work, but had to turn the S mode off so that it is feeding circulated air to the Passenger Seat and AC to the back seat area. Thanks for your help.
It is definitely a Toyota something but you wouldn't know it is a Crown without the lettering on the rear. The JDM version is more classy in this regard. It isn't even an option to have a crown on the hood, in the steering wheel, on the headrests or floor mats. Attention to detail is missing.
Thanks!
