One Mind is a pretty disappointing Combat Art in my opinion, mostly because it's easily the coolest one in the game and I wish it were as useful as it is aesthetically incredible. The very first strike can break super-armor, but the flurry of strikes afterward does very little armor damage, enabling certain bigger enemies to simply tank through it and hit you, or (in the case of Owl, for example) jump far enough away that landing the final hit is impossible. You are able to cancel the ending lag of the flurry portion with a dodge, which mitigates this weakness by allowing you to avoid a counterattack if the target enemy simply tanks through those hits, but doing this still uses the full Spirit Emblem cost, which feels pretty bad since you're only using half the ability and don't get to land the powerful final hit. One Mind is definitely better than Spiral Cloud Passage, but it suffers from a similar weakness in that it's most useful against enemies for which using it in the first place is massive overkill.

Well played sir! Good to see someone showing One Mind some love! I picked up Sekiro for the first time about two weeks ago. I’m now ng+ and currently 5 deaths in on Emma/Isshin. Loving the game and can’t wait for One Mind.

Nice! One Mind is pretty tough to use against a lot of the bosses honestly but it's super strong against regular enemies and certain minibosses
